Build the partition as stated but fill the void once built with expanding foam, available at Build centre in Dulwich in a can it's a little more expensive ( rockwall has very little sound proof quality anyway ) but would seal & insulate an area that size well. The best Plasterer in the business is Kevin 07973-633694 he charges a day rate which usually includes material ?170 a day-ish but worth his weight in gold. W**F Plus if you are doing the work your self use dry wall screws to fix the board & make sure the heads are in , do also make sure the plasterboard is the right way round for skimming.

I watched "Water" the other night , It's about widows in India (I know don't all rush to Blockbusters) but it is a very compelling & beautifully shot film. It's recorded in English & Hindi ( no dubbing or subtitles) I think it was a joint venture with the Canadian film board. Also the soundtrack music is great. W**F

What do you when you see a spider in your sights?
woofmarkthedog replied to matthew123's topic in The Lounge
I dress up in my huge spider outfit and "scare" the f*ck out of them. Oh you should see them run, their face is a picture. W**F -
I like an Ale myself though a bottled Peroni with a pizza is very nice if only to wash the cheese grease from your teeth. Bottled imported beer is best anyway, the other stuff is usually brewed under license in the UK which is why they all taste very similar no doubt. Timothy Taylor landlord , Badgers Tanglefoot, Hop back brewery Summer lightning are all great starters for Lager to Ale virgins, yes they are served cooled though not frozen like some of the other crud on sale. Beware though, they can catch you out strength wise. W**F

I love "Peckham Spring" myself. Though pushed to buy bottled I have preferences as some do taste diff & even more so if in glass. ( oh gawd here we go ) W**F

Nigee Million quid cash, that's one fat mattress. Oh and watch Daizie she has very high & published hygiene standards ( lay cable in her loo & you're out) Do you pick your nose ? Turney Road area has some gaffs in that price range go see the agent in the village next to the bank " Harvey Wheeler" Do you ride a bike ? What colour cords do you wear on Sunday ? Do you shop at Cordings ? All these are important questions you know, afterall I know a few people with a million quid cash that I wouldn't want living anywhere near me. W**F

Million quid, ask ???????? & Mic Mac how to turn your sizable pot into a "Garunteeeeeed " fortune, then you can retire as well.

butter eating three year old
woofmarkthedog replied to josiebee's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Josiebee As a child my mum had to hide the sugar bowl, I would eat it by the spoon if I could. Now as an adult I almost have an aversion to it, so your butter lover may well grow out of it. I have 2 boys 9 & 5 and I have always been the family cook , my boys eat everything now but there have been moments. I personally would work out a trading strategy with your little one. Start by offering to put butter on say sweet potato or carrots so they trade eating the veg for the butter "hit" , once this has been established ( & it my take time ) add more food items therefor addressing the nutritional balance. One thing I would do is put a controlled portion of butter on a small plate, then dish this out when the food is on the table. You may want to join in the game so together you can guide the situation and therefor reduce or eliminate in time the butter. Lastly butter in it self is not unhealthy as it is a whole-food especially when used as a part of a balanced diet, olive oil also has roughly the same calorific value but not the saturated fat. Children's brains at this age do need a higher fat diet to build the all important connections. Surprisingly it's middle class children who get fed very low fat foods that most present with "old" nutritional diseases like rickets even in these modern & informed times. If I could recommend one really good book it would be the Planet Organic Baby & toddler cookbook ?9.99. ISBN 0-7513-2907-X Good luck W**F -
Stay or go ? I think she should regrettably go, after all she drafted the very piece of legislation that caught her out. I know Brown is keen to keep her there (& that in it's self is a kiss of death) but she knew the law and by staying she compromises the position & office of the attorney general. W**F

Crystal Palace cinema campaign - send objections to church use now
woofmarkthedog replied to louisiana's topic in The Lounge
These are the people who wish to open a "church" in Upper Noorwood, I'm not keen on this kind of Church at all, they do little or nothing for the general population of the area. The area of Upper Noorwood needs positive regeneration however, once the churches like these get in the areas decline is sadly on it's way. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingsway_International_Christian_Centre W**F -
Oh also Neil Tennant His voice reminds me of a cheap travel hair drier on medium speed. He's not that different in person either. Oh and Hugh Cornwell is a cock, he had a badly cut hairy burgundy tweedy jacket on (not a crime in it's self ) when I met him last, but it was his refusal to talk about or even acknowledge his part or time with the "Strangler" that did it for me. I'm sure there are more.... W**F

Crystal Palace cinema campaign - send objections to church use now
woofmarkthedog replied to louisiana's topic in The Lounge
For me it's quite simple, I prefer a posh cinema as the opening hours & films are better, I'm unashamedly middle class & like places like the Roxy Cinema in Brixton, so to have one closer to home would be great. A church at best opens what twice a week, just not convenient enough and you cant buy pop-corn & ice cream at a church. W**F
