I thought Jungleland was the best song he did at Hyde Park (amongst many other good ones). My mate told me of the 1975 London gigs at Hammersmith where he first made himself known in the UK, so I looked them up and youtube have fantastic excerpts of most of the songs from those 1975 gigs. Hes a cool guy at 59 but this he was cool here, 34 years earlier, Just the first few bars of the keyboard on jungleland make great listening:

I think Mikecg set this up. He has apparently tried to buy BBW for the new forum, he has offered a record fee of ?20, but Admin is holding out for more. BBW is not sure if he is wanted by EDF, he feels he is being treated like a piece of meat. He feels his loyalty to EDF should ensure we always want him here, and we do, but every player has his price and ?20 is big money in the world of local forums.

Women do the hard work, men get the glory.... 1. Woman goes to buthcher and buys food for bbq 2. Woman diligently prepares marinades and salads etc 3. Woman greets guests, makes sure they all have a drink and children are fed and occuppied 4. Man has a beer with male guests - he lights bbq with an appreciative audience 5. Man cremates food on bbq while talking to friends at same time 6. Woman rescues food with suitable sauces and good presentation 7. Woman sets table etc 8. Guests tuck in and congratulate man on his cooking 9. Man falls asleep on sofa, after congratulating himself on a job well done 10. Woman sees guests out and tidies and washes up. 11. Man snores

Richard Bacon on radio 5 last night spoke to a girl who hosted a bbq as part of her hen party weekend away. They (10 girls) spent an hour getting everything prepared, marinades, salads etc. then remembered they should get the bbq going - 2 hours later (by her own admission) they actually had something to cook on, none of the group of 10 knew how to get a charcoal bbq started. I know you can make your own sperm now, but for this you need men.

Why is it the men always end up doing the BBQ? This has been discussed on Radio 5 tonight, so I have my views, I'll keep those back for a while.

Green could be the man this week Quids. Of my 5 suggestions, I'm pleased that McIlroy, Clarke and Villegas are also nicely poised. But Green seems to be in very good form.
