  1. Not what fans want to hear before a London derby though AM
  2. Too short quids? Some would say generous at 3/1 everywhere this morning .. Well done AM, it ran a great race. Thoughts turn to the Gold Cup but it stopped after jumping the last this year so there are doubts.
  3. Silviniaco Conti. I only have to type the first four letters into my phone and it comes up in predictive, well trained.
  4. Great day today, just the 5 of us for dinner, although we did pop to the Ivy House for a festive beer before starting the cooking. Family in Ireland were on skype. Cooking was a team effort with me and the missus, i do the turkey and roasties and she does the rest. I have already had two snoozes since dinner. Dulwich Fox, hope you managed to have a good day.
  5. You're just being nice to me cos its Christmas.

  7. Good one Mr B. My wife hunted high and low for christmas nuts but no joy. Id add to your list, a Spirograph, or a Connect 4 game with the parents who suddenly had some time.
  8. Even if it was just a best Swedish footballer ranking, Ibrahimavich should be second best behind King Henrik Larsson.

It's much older than that RD. It's always good fun to remember peoples comments and make them accountable. Especially ones that I didn't expect. And Im pretty sure you said Celtic were doing well despite Lennon rather than because of him. My brother in law said Lennon was a wonker. I'm seeing him at Christmas, I'll have a word with him too. I'm making friends everywhere this festive season.

  11. I was there. Whilst others set off for the sunny glory hunting plains of Upton Park some of us took our sons to see the local team. 820 in the "crowd"...
  12. Yes Jimbo. I was at work and too busy to look at the forum.
  13. Still use Plough man with no name when we can. Very good meat. It's the lamb and pork comes from his Dad's farm I think not the beef - but it's all very good. We have asked him to spatchcock a chicken for us a couple of times recently, really easy to cook and carve and he's more than happy to do that. Heard him chatting on Saturday to a customer about a full pig for roasting and can also price up a full lamb !
  14. I see Neil Lennon has taken Bolton from rock bottom 24th to 14th in a couple of months. And seven games unbeaten. Despite Neil Lennon rather than because of him RD ?
  15. He has those new jeans that show off your backside.

    SPOTY 2014

Its not given to - its voted for. Hence the sporting public of northern Ireland it seems couldn't be bothered picking up the phone. Unlike me. :)

Has to be Rory. Surely, surely, surely.
  22. Ally McCoist offers his resignation from Rangers Ally McCoist has offered his resignation as Rangers manager, BBC Scotland understands. But, as it stands, he will be in charge for Friday evening's Scottish Championship fixture against Queen of the South - until told otherwise. The 52-year-old has a 12-month rolling contract with the Glasgow club, who have yet to comment officially. So either the club pays his salary up in full, comes to a settlement, or keep him in place for the next 12 months. It is believed that the players have not yet been informed. (That sort of assumes the players don't have access to the internet)
  23. I think if you buy leasehold on a non council block you can hopefully assume that any works are necessary and on commercial terms. I think what some people have said here is that the works doe on local authority managed blocks are not necessarily needed and are done to utilise council budgets and also they are not necessarily apportioned equally between council tenants and private owners. If either of these things were true I'd avoid buying ex council.
