  1. Beware Broonie, Quids.
  2. I have just heard Ray Clemence is in goal tonight. see his expertise at 6.10 on the attached video:
  3. The old Home Internationals were not much more than friedlies where teams tried out their squad players - but when it came to Scotland England it was different. First teams and pride at stake. Not that I care much as a neutral, but I'd like to see Scotland give a good account of themselves.
  4. C'mon Scotland. Show that underdog spirit, mixed with a little guile.

I hope you gave them a piece of your mind - stop laughing and get back to work or there'll be no Christmas for you dossers.

Was in the Scottish section and they have some good songs. Mostly about taking the high road or walking 100 miles, they seemed familiar to me even. It was a great atmosphere created by the tartan army. Many regrets and condolences obviously about the Scottish fan who fell to his death. Also it was a strange feeling supporting the away team at Celtic Park, and being massively outnumbered, that felt odd.
  9. A small lamb shish would be under a fiver and has enough meat in for most people. And yes I'd say it's grilled and therefore likely to be healthier than a pizza. But am looking forward to trying Franco M as love good thin pizza (and likewise don't like any other non thin pizza)
  10. The chairman of football club Tottenham Hotspur is due to meet an American consortium, backed by private equity firm Carlyle, interested in purchasing the team. City AM writes that the club is expected to be valued between ?502m and ?628m, with money from any takeover used to fund a ?400m redevelopment of its grounds.
  11. I can prob do 3rd (but not defo yet) . Thx.

  13. Moyes gets Sociadad role. Good luck David.
  14. Outside of Chelsea the top teams seem to be having a shambolic early season! Noone can put a run together.

  18. Hey - but Arsenal are special.
  19. I knew Maribor were good.

  21. Its one of those situations where being a big open space is a disadvantage. Some of the best pubs are tiny.

But even that stopped working ultimately. It was the place to go for sport no doubt but if no big game on then it was quiet. 6 nations Saturdays were the best days in there.
