  1. I had some very good food there when it first opened and it had a very reasonably priced lunchtime menu for the quality of the food on offer. This was on successive Fridays in March and haven't been able to go back so I can't say I have helped them much custom wise. At some point not long after opening it started to go wrong and I heard they had kicked out some key owner/mangers early doors and never recovered.

Keane has made a lot of comments in support of the many ex players who have been criticised by Ferguson. > I don't. It was hardly under Scholes' control - I'd like a bit of Posh, i'll get one of those for meself. Oh and those Armani pants contracts, I'll get one of those too.... Sorry no takers.

It's gonna be a big one and Super Ally thinks it could fill the Maracana! It's a great draw in that it's at the end of January so will keep the tabloids and old firm banter going for 3 months. it had better not be on BT Sport.
  4. It was a handicap Declan, carrying second top weight and known to prefer soft ground so it's an ok performance, the first four home were all well down the weights. Silver Treasure is now moving to France with Amy the trainer. Went to the races today with my wife and kids to say goodbye.
  5. Odds drifting because of drying ground, we like it soft I'm afraid.
  6. I'll be at Newmarket today. Silver Treasure is 10/1 with the big firms but BoyleSports "know" and have it at 7s :) http://www.racingpost.com/horses2/cards/card.sd?race_id=612191&r_date=2014-11-01#raceTabs=oc_
  7. Yes. I exchanged bodily fluids with Bill Nighy one night on the front row of the stalls. That guy can deliver a line to the whole audience. To think that if Cary Mulligan had only sprayed her tears in my direction instead.
  8. Alan, dont tell them you are actually Declan or they will hunt you down and they will kill you. (Liam Neeson accent )
  9. I remember being in a tapas bar with a big birthday group and asking someone to pass the onion rings.

  12. I had Barbera Windsor on the underground. She was loud.
  13. You don't have to highlight my grammatical errors Quids - you make me sic anyway - you spelt sexits (sic) wrongly, so the "joke" is on you.
  14. Hi dumper - what were you doing in your bathroom at the time and how do you get your name?
  15. Hot on the heels of Alan Medics sexist flamer... I was in a restaurant this week where I was given a menu with prices on, and my wife was given a menu with no prices. Apparently it's a French thing - discussed it with a French colleague at work and he says its quite common at higher end restaurants. I've never seen it before but thought it was hilarious. My wife was actually quite pleased as she prefers not to know what things cost - its puts her off her food.
  16. Are you winding us up AM. 3 volumes you say?

MrB - I was referring to there is an onus on the customer - I have never seen that from HMRC - just checking you didn't know about something that I hadn't seen.
