  1. yes it's open every afternoon from 1 to 4
  2. I preferred the Toro to the bugaboo...
  3. I have to say I never had a problem with the wheels or tyres at all. Maybe I was lucky!
  4. I had one and it was fab. Bought it too late to need the carrycot but i really liked the seat unit because it meant bubs could sit up nice and upright. might not be suitable for a tall child for more than a couple of years, but by then you may need a double anyway ;o) light and easy to steer, i wasn't keen on the handle bars but you can buy a better version of them for 20quid
  5. fab news Anna, glad to hear it went well x
  6. our almost 2 year old likes the dice one... don't know the exact name!
  7. the p&t vibe has a height adjustable canopy. you are welcome to come and try it out to see if your daughter will fit :)
  8. we had one for a few months, found it fine on buses etc as well as nice and light. Main annoying thing was when the small front wheels would get stuck in relatively small dips in the pavement.
  9. am free and could do either as well, sandpit is closer but I am HUGE so less running around after bub #1 would be nice. 1 vote for one o'clock club! x
  10. am doing some serious budgeting! Any ideas welcome :))
  11. please stop eating your shoe Please don't eat daddy's shoe Please take off aunty's shoes Good boy...
  12. if it will make you feel any better you are more than welcome to come over and hoover up the sand we managed to track home with us ;o)
  13. Thank you everyone, will put the numbers up by the phone and take whichever can get to me first :o)
  14. was it on here I read that you should pretend that you've had a three foot deep flood and move everything up accordingly? Also have found that I need to vacuum almost daily as my toddler will eat ANYTHING he finds on the floor that looks like it could once have been edible. Might be an idea just to get down on your hands and knees and see what you can see... You'll feel silly maybe but it helps to see things from the right perspective :o)
  15. Fantastic, Thanks :o)
  16. Am probably a bit ahead of myself as am due in four weeks, but the first was 3.5 weeks early so not taking any chances... We had a car the first time round so no worries, but can anyone recommend a taxi company for a mad dash? Not wanting to use the company from Northcross Rd as had a v bad experience a few months back. Am by the Horniman these days so anywhere local to here would be good... Thanks in advance! Helen
  17. peppa pig keeps mummy sane in our house, though via you tube. Also noddy (though not the episodes with the goblins, bubs says 'bye bye noddy' as soon as they appear.
  18. well, luckily for those of us using public transport these days there IS enough room for two or three buggies to fit in the space provided on buses for a wheelchair user, and we are not always required to fold them down. I'm sure that your mum would have appreciated the space had it been available. I do not see why I should apologise for taking the space allocated just because it hasn't always been there. I have to wrangle my p&t's sometimes to manoeuvre into place, but this normally only causes inconvenience to the other pram owner. It would also be minimised by the driver just allowing me onto the bus via the back door in the first place.
  19. Polly D, none of my business obviously but perhaps a new childminder is in order??
  20. PR one o'clock club has a fancy dress theme this friday, it's 50p entrance, can't remember if there is a bouncy castle as well this week but def planned
  21. chocolate milk appeared in a list of best things to feed toddlers sb! mind you, I did find it on the internet...
  22. second that, and nice to see that the sun has now come out...
