  1. Would have a field day on Rye Lane if they made sudden attacks on all the open fronted butchers, would be foxy paradiseo.
  2. The James Barber Health Centre in recognition of all the work James has done for the community.
  3. Please, please, please take the time to read the proposals and respond. What has been proposed by the consultants employed by the Trustees which the Chief Executive is responsible for implementing, will radically change Hornimans Gardens as we currently know it If the plans are agreed. YOU have UNTIL 22nd JULY 2019 to provide YOUR feedback. You can read more about these plans online or via a display in the Museum - https://horniman.ac.uk/get_involved/news/a-future-framework-for-the-horniman It is VITALLY important that you give your feedback because if we don't the Gardens will be changed out of all recognition and I fear they will no longer be a place of peace, tranquillity and sanctuary between London Road, Westwood Park and Horniman Drive for both locals and visitors to the museum and Gardens. The museum and Gardens say that they would love to hear your ideas at this initial stage of development ? Please share your comments on the Feedback Board the next time you are in the Museum or by emailing framework@horniman.ac.uk before Monday 22 July 2019. Have your say, tell the museum and Gardens what your thoughts and views are, if you agree or disagree. I fear the entire Gardens will turn into some sort of building site while the works are done and resemble a theme park, where it's all about making money. The Gardens were NEVER designed for this. The fundemental changes are at: https://horniman.ac.uk/get_involved/news/a-future-framework-for-the-horniman 1. New Garden Arrival Square 2. Spacious Reception with Improved Facilities 3. Reorganised and Reimagined Museum Spaces 4. Nature Zone and Kindercaf? 5. Stepping Gardens 6. Horticultural Hub and Winter Garden
  4. Think it runs out of St. Pancras Station on a weekly basis
  5. corrected to, seat
  6. Unless Farage can win a Parliamentary sea(t), (unlikely) no need to worry about that.
  7. JohnL - totally agree. I don't trust BORIS or Corbyn, they both spout equal measures of crap and neither can be trusted as far as you can throw them. Boris lies, blusters, makes things up on the spot and changes things as he likes. Both will be just as bad as each other and bad for the country. The sooner we can move on and have new blood running the Government IMO the better. Would the last person turn off the lights and close the door. Perhaps the Royals would like to step forward, dissolve Parliament and take control, surely they couldn't make more of a mess than the current three year fiasco we've endured so far and are likely to suffer for for the foreseeable future.
  8. London = UK Capital. Planes flying over head are to be expected, we've three airports here with arrivals and departures across the globe. If you'd prefer somewhere quieter, have you considered the Outer Hebrides.
  9. If BJ became PM then I'd be happy to see a GE, however both BJ and JC are as bad as each other and as such would both be disastrous PM's for the UK. Perhaps a GE would not provide a clear winner and the UK would end up with another five years of a coalition government. That has to be a better outcome than either of those two clowns becoming PM.
  10. Please NOT Boris, he's a walking liability, hence why he's being kept away from the press, you only have to see what the Foreign and Commonwealth Office thought about him as he was the Foreign Secretary. Just imagine, (no it's to hard to contemplate) him and Corbyn at PMQ's, Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
  11. From Saturday 15 June, there will be changes to bus route 12, which runs between Oxford Circus Station, Margaret Street and Dulwich Library. Following reductions in demand we are changing the frequency, and buses will now run as follows: every 7-8 minutes on Monday ? Saturday daytimes every 10 minutes early mornings and evenings everyday every 8-9 minutes on Sundays For help planning your journey, visit our website. Yours sincerely, Claire Mann Director of Bus Operations

    Olive oil

You tend to get what you pay for when it comes to oil. It depends what you want to use the oil for, general cooking, salads, as part of marinades, the flavour you want or want to add to a dish. It's very much personal choice. If you watch some of the Saturday cookery programmes you'll see they tend to consistently use the same oil which comes in an octagonal shaped bottle with a cap. Ultimately it comes down to personal taste.

    Olive oil

Spanish Olive Oil in Sainsbury's comes in a tin and is adequate,
  14. Almost as though, if you don't want to shop and pay the way we want you to, it'll take you longer to use our standard and reduced self service checkouts. Thanks Sainsbury's , seems like you really want to help customers, NOT.
  15. Their should be a reduction for those that use self service or self scan (the only difference being one's static and the other is mobile)
  16. Good - he's a walking liability and embarrassment as the F&CO quickly found out, hence they were so glad when May kicked him off the Cabinet.
  17. They have introduced self scan at their Savacentre in Bell Green/lower sydenham. If DKH have removed, as reported some of the self checkouts it will just create longer queuing elsewhere. Tesco on OKR have done a similar thing removing checkouts and the queues at the self checkouts has become much longer, especially when only 4 of the 8 self checkouts are operational. Unfortunately DKH Sainsbo's seem to now also only have 4 of the 8 self check tills working at each bank of self checkouts. I thought it was all about helping customers get through checkouts more easily. If the technology works all well and good but even the self checkouts seem to be temperamental and stop half way through a transaction requiring staff to come over and swipe a fob on the checkout to clear the error.
  18. I thought something was happening when all the trolleys had an additional thing added to the handle and initially thought that all trolleys would need ?1 coins to use them like other supermarkets, but perhaps the addition to the trolleys is for the hand held scanner to be attached to the trolley, just a thought??????????
  19. Search/try passive income streams
  20. European and GE results will be very different.
  21. The election is meaningless.
  22. Was chaotic also yesterday morning with two queues, those who had a pre-booked appointment (just me) and those that needed an appointment. This resulted in a long queue of people who were slowly being processed at the window starting at 10am. It was not long before the receptionist said their were no more appointments, come back the next morning. The doctor said, it was primarily due to things; Firstly it was down to budgetary constraints Secondly the doctors are fully aware of the problems patients are having getting appointments Thirdly, their is an insufficient number of doctors looking to work in general practice and this practice is finding it hard to fill the vacancy. It was further explained that this is a national problem. Well if FHRGP actually provided a service to its patients and helped rather than hindered patients it wouldn't be in the mess it is in right now and patients would not be leaving to go to other practices. And they do not appear to like it being highlighted that problems exist, but rather blame the Government for budget issues.
  23. Yes your pictuure looks great, BUT, Got to say he DNA'd on the first visit to do a quote and it was only after chasing up that he came came on a Saturday morning to come and look at the job (shed base and shed), apologised, explained how it is a family business. Promised to provide a quote, waited, waited and waited some more as he was soooooooooooooo busy, chased him for his quote and am still waiting. You may have been lucky but it is systematic of trades people who promise the earth and fail to deliver anything. How hard can it be putting pen to paper or typing out and emailing a quote.
  24. Human kind has eyes, I have eyes, you have eyes, , animals on land and in the sea have eyes, we all have eyes. But what you see with your eyes is what matters.
