You appear to want to replace/duplicate things which already exist because you appear to disagree with the way they are run/your views are/have been censored. Actually it reminds me of a petulant school kid's behaviour who can't get his own way , has a tantrum and throws his toys out of the pram. So maybe you can use your "skills" to start your very own beachyhead.life forum rather than continuing to impose what you want/think is needed in SE22, SE23 and SE26, which to be honest ain't, ya get me.

Totally have to disagree, bus use is increasing, have you tried travelling early early morning towards Vauxhall, buses are packed going into town at that time of the morning, would not have throught so many people travel at 6.00-6.30am but they DO. So in my experience usage in this part of London (that we are not served by tubes till the Oval) is INcreasing.

and Mr. Beach does not live in either SE22, Se23 or SE26 but out on the coast, nice work if you can get it. Perhaps he should start a beachyhead.life forum and leave us alone.

Waiting at the Langton Rise bus stop a few times in the last couple of weeks, I have certainly noticed a significant increase in the amount of traffic on Wood Vale heading towards Lordship Lane/London Road and had wondered what was causing the increase in traffic?

I understand Choumert Square has a sprinkling of famous actors/actresses who reside there. Maybe connected to the sitting.

How do you think things will change on 1st April 2019 after the UK has "left" being a EU member, and how many people will want to leave the UK to go and live in a European country as a result of the UK exiting the EU?

how can she be right wing in a Party, that is by all intents and purpose the most left wing its ever been, and probably verging on being Marxist and communist with Momentum, if that is actually possible with Mcdonnel and Corbyn.

Quote: taken from a forest hill forum to spread the news, Admin, I hope this is OK to report on. Families of loved ones at the crematorium in Brockley Way describe being heartbroken by the actions of Southwark Council. Patrick Whelan, whose daughter?s ashes are scattered by her bench, said it was ?absolutely disgusting? that he had to bring her memorial home. His daughter, Karen Whelan, died 12 years ago aged 37. ?It is so disrespectful,? he added. ?I have other relatives whose ashes are scattered around the bench and when we visit it feels like they are there with us.? He said the council told him his 10-year tenure was up, but he claims to never have signed such a contract. ?There is no tenure they just want to redevelop,? Patrick said. ?I asked them to show me my signed tenure, but they said they didn?t have it. ?There are benches that have been there since 1938, I don?t think those families have been paying a 10-year tenure.? Cathy Erskine, 54, was one of the first to come forward after learning her dad?s bench had been removed. She claims no notice was placed on her bench and argues she would have brought it back to her garden if she had known. Cathy told News Shopper: ?I am absolutely fuming. My poor step mum is in her 80s and is heartbroken. ?My dad?s bench was nowhere near the redevelopment. I did see more benches that had been removed and put in the yard in the gardens. I am so stressed over this.? It has been reported other benches have also been removed from the crematorium. Councillor Richard Livingstone said: ?We are very sorry for the distress caused by ongoing work to improve Honor Oak Crematorium. ?We hope to create a new burial and memorial space for the future, including a new, dedicated peace garden for babies and children?s memorials, as well as creating a more pleasant, peaceful and well-maintained site for families. ?We are very aware that this work can have an impact on people who visit the memorials of loved ones in this part of the crematorium. ?We ensured notices advising of the changes and how to contact us about them, were in the area from April this year and we are already working with Mrs Erskine and other families and would encourage anyone with concerns or questions to get in touch with us now.?

Fox, get well soon and I hope your health issues improve. take care

To put it simply, the people chose and from watching the last two years got it seriously wrong, that's my opinion. I may be right, I may be wrong, only time will tell, BUT like it or not, the Government is following through on the will of the people. Strangely the UK wasted two years dithering and since Davis and co, quit, it's become a different story. Now don't get me wrong, we are in one heck of a mess, between now and March 2019, it is only going to get worse and worse, and then for the next two years UK plc will not be out of the woods either. The people made a choice, and that was probably hugely influenced by the issue of immigration, now you have to live with the consequences of June 2016. Why do you think Cameron chucked in the towel, he realised how difficult life in No.10 was about to become and May picked up the poison chalice. How does it effect every household in the UK, with prices slowly but surely continually increasing, so it hits us all in the pocket. Chuck in austerity their for good measure. Europe is laughing at the UK and rightly so, and guess what, they will continue to do so until this sorry mess is sorted out. Everyday the news feed continues to be about Brexit, how about the decisions and news about other issues that are quietly going unreported, a great time to push out bad news, because no one is watching. The state marches on. There even comes a time, when you have to think, will life in a European country be better than life here post Brexit, don't know, but its worth thinking about and even giving it a punt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bet those who came here after the Second World War and worked all their lives in and for this country must be wondering, was it worth it with the way UK plc wants to turn its back on Europe, because it wants its freedom and independence. Where have we heard that before??? And the only good news, well bless my soul, Harry (the non Royal) gets Meghan up the duff and we've got to pay for that one as well, another sponger on the state to be paid for, you really couldn't make it up if you tried. Well you could, but that's the UK plc in the 21st Century, nearly alone, nearly outcast and nearly bust.

After three failed attempts with different agents with which I hasten to add, wasted us too much time (i.e. lots of talk and promises but no action) we switched to KfH as they had gained a track record of selling houses in the road. We went with KfH Forest Hill branch earlier this year, they found a buyer in 12 weeks of registering with them and we completed at the end of June. Javaid the Manager was easy to deal with, as was Seth. As said earlier, I think it depends on the branch and who within the branch you deal with. I had problems with one of their staff, (consistently late for appointments with buyers and a great mumbler, arghhhhhhhh) and then pressed to deal with Javaid, he did everything and more for us. ps. If I was buying or selling I'd want Javaid in my corner, he knows his stuff, has vast experience of the process of selling and buying, and how to deal with a demanding buyer.

so when you get exposed over your t&c you can't take the criticism and resort to posting childish images. Just shows what sort of organisation/person you are and represent, remind me to take a wide berth of it. hahahahahaha. To be honest can't see the purpose of your love East Dulwich organisation, what exactly is its purpose and what on earth do you do actually do??????? -
East Dulwich "Me & ED" Photo Competiton - The Winners
dbboy replied to eastDAG's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
As per your t&c The entrant agrees to indemnify East Dulwich Action Group against any losses or damages suffered as a result of infringement of any third-party rights. - Did you check each entrant indemnified you against any loses?? The winners will be announced by 10 July 2018 on LoveEastDulwich.com - Looks like you have failed to meet your own t&c Entrants grant permission for their photograph to be reproduced and displayed on a lamp post banner within East Dulwich, for up to 3 years, or for the lifetime of the banner itself. Entrants also grant permission for display in print materials, LoveEastDulwich.com, Instagram, Twitter and other social media platforms with or without crediting the entrant. - Why three years?? - Seems very one sided. What are the prizes? -

I hope those how took and submitted photo's keep ownership of their pictures and if you do use them, they get some financial return for their usage. All sounds very fishy to take sooooooooo long to judge a photo competion. By the way, how many pictures where submited to be judged?? -
This has nothing to do with the ethnic make up in London so please do not bring spurious arguments to this discussion,

TfL plan to reroute Bus 40 away from London Bridge

Is it not clear for you cllr. from this thread that people are opposed to the planned changes or am I misreading this thread? -
Hold up, but she won't call a GE if she has any sense, she has done that once and look at the mess that got her into, furthermore, come April, she'll have stepped aside. Yes things have been hard, it's going to get harder till March 19 and the following two years. Do you think Trotsky red Corbyn can do any better, no chance. Him and McDonald will spend, spend, spend and financially crash the UK. Just remember what happened in 2010 when Labour left office and the UK on the brink of going bust. Have you not heard the same rhetoric from Labour that Corbyn spouted at his conference last week, it was the same that Milliband spouted and look how that ended. Secondly, you can march as much as you like, their will be NO second referendum, it will not happen. In June 16 the people decided they wanted out of the EU, a decision made primarily I suspect on not being dictated to by Brussels, wanting control of the UK borders, reducing immigration (without which the UK will grind to a halt). The people made a choice and not realising the consequences of their action, Now the turkey is coming home to roost as you may say. People now realise how much we rely on Europe and vice versa. The Government have been working to achieve the will of the people (badly at times and wasting time by Davis and Co). Just because you don't like the outcome and are Finally realising what you voted for, you can't change the vote now. So as you said, march and shout as much as you like, it will make no difference. Guaranteed. Oh and one final thing, it is highly likely the UK will leave with no deal.
