  8. I've just spent the last minute trying to unlock the car door...with the TV remote! Anyone else suffer similar lapses in mental aptitude?

Presumably...I've no idea when it comes to metric weights (in my day it was "a quarter of..."). But I think you are right, as they do small, medium and large bags (I always ask for small). Does any of this make sense?::o

  11. Well! I shall have to try those! Thanks for the tip Cate. Addictive, definitely.
  12. ha ha ha ...and their aniseed balls are pretty authentic too (complete with little seed)...not quite as orgasmalicious as the liquorice toffees, but definitely not to be sniffed at...
  13. OH, the sweets are priceless...we are talking orgasmalicious - remember?
  14. Their liquorice toffees are orgasmalicious...and, at ?1.25 a bag, worth every penny.
  15. No need to apologise ???? - no offence whatsoever was caused. Thanks for the last bit though...made my day:))!
  16. Ahhh...that Julius..."if you have tears to shed, prepare to shed them now..." and all that malarkey... You've made a fair point there ????:(. Crap Comprehensive, left at 16 with one O Level (and, as you have guessed, it wasn't in English Literature). "Et Tu" - Latin? I thought it was French! (My one O Level pass)!

    BUPA COSTS

???? Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Treatment is just as good on the NHS I would go so far as to say that it can sometimes be better. I recently accompanied someone very dear to me to the (NHS) Cardiologist at Kings St. Thomas'...excellent...gave us all the time in the world. When I had accompanied that same person to a private cardiologist (BUPA employee benefit), the cardiologist always seemed more interested in regularly checking his Rolex and twiddling with his jewel encrusted cufflinks rather than listening to his patient. The private cardiologist also made an incorrect diagnosis causing unnecessary additional stress. Edited to correct incorrectly named NHS hospital.
