  1. My boyfriend is too lazy/mean to come meet me off the train. I always plan to walk the longer way but then when it comes to it i'm generally a bit drunk and want my bed so walk the quicker way. Maybe we should all make a mini deal to always walk the main road way even if it takes longer. Keep your wits about you boys and girls and if someone does try to mug you just let them take it (although i know it's easier to say than do). If they are not leaving you alone then just scream as loud as possible and run. My mate got followed home (not in ED) by a man and he grabbed her from behind and touched her where he definitely shouldn't have so she screamed and screamed so everyone came outside and he ran off.
  2. I see your point and it's a good one.
  3. James looks lost and confused all the time Keef. Phil and Kate, the best looking people on the programme are smitten - what a surprise. I'm going to watch the after show on i-player to find out more.
  4. Oh dear i'm in the process of buying a flat in ED (first time buyer). BUT it's a home not just a flat so if it goes down a bit i don't mind as long as it goes up again one day. I have just had enough of renting and throwing my money down the drain.
  5. I think I want Kate to win, she seems the most normal, arrogant but normal. And thanks Mick Mac for your approval of my description (tu)
  6. I'm in love with SMBJ and Wolverine. Possibly quite different, possibly not.
  7. Blooming heck that's horrible. Thank goodness she's ok then and what luck/fate she had the coat on.

  9. I can't find anything on google about it. I hope she's ok it sounds terrifying.
  10. Yes, it should definitely go to SMBJ.
  11. Forgot to say that was very bad indeed but as you said you wouldn't do it now i don't hate you

I want to know now. My guess is Tom Dixon?
  13. i didn't know the difference until now
  14. My great great great great grandfather was the last man to be publicly hung in britain, it's in the guiness book of world records. Michael Barrett, he blew up a prison to get his friend out or something. Some distant uncle or something took that black and white photo/poster of a woman bending over on a tennis court that everyone seems to have hanging in their toilets. Something like the best selling poster ever but he only got a one off fee of about ?20 i think. I sold Charlie Dimmok value pencils when I worked in Woolworths many moons ago.
  15. I would be peeved if my skip got filled with other peoples crap. They're really expensive to hire and quite a hassle to organise if you don't have a drive way. Maybe if i ever got one I'd put a sign on it that if you dump something put some money through my post box please. I think some people would.
  16. Do you think that would work in ED? When i was house hunting i was thinking of trying to buy nearish greenwich park because of the equestrian bit being there but i never thought ED would attract the olympic toursits. I think it's a bit far away.
  17. I lost me blanket when on holiday 20 years ago and i still haven't got over it.
  18. Amazing, thank you so much Barry. PS. Will you marry me?

  20. Bring on the very long list of Peckham characters.

See threads passim. Can it be amended from Whistler, sophiesofa to Hummer, sophiesofa (i don't often smell bad though). I'm going to look out for the mentioned above, especially Rod Stewart
  22. i'm not good with names juninred and no-one had answered so i thought any information is better than no information. I admit it probably wasn't much help. Do you know his name then?
  23. Just looked up that thread. She sounded like she'd had a hard life poor thing. There must be at least one current one. If not an ED forumite will have to take up the position asap.
  24. Deptford has the woman who wears wigs back to front New cross has the man that make rasberries every 5 second in your face Deptford has the lady who shouts obsenities at anyone and everyone and poked her finger in my friends eye Greenwich has the pretend blind man who insults everyone and tells them they're going to hell Who should we look out for in ED?

    Touting

At least the hamlet person is being upfront about it and not trying to hide the profit part. Probably more appropriate for ebay though.
