    I think some VAT can be reclaimed if you are converting a building that was previously non-residential to residential use. I think this is one of the reasons barn conversion are popular as the developer is able to reclaim some of the VAT.

    It's possible that more people are recorded as living there in 1939 but there entries are not made public until either 100 years have passed or they are confirmed as no longer alive.     As mentioned in the text of the OP but not the title, this may have more to do with the health centre than the school, in which case I doubt the head will be able to assist.

    They've started work in earnest on the old Highshore school site and I spotted four large dumper trucks parked nearby this morning on my way to work. I'm expecting the same with the work going on for the new Heath Centre and school on East Dulwich Grove. A definite need for heightened awareness from all.

    Come on Louisa - everyone should be able to spoil themselves once in a while and if they feel like spending ?7.50 of their hard earned cash on a hotdog then they should be able to do so. I mean everyone should be able to spend on premium products once in a while, you know like popping into Space NK....

    I don't know this for sure as I'm not well travelled but do Asia street food sellers have to comply with the Health and Safety and have Food Hygiene training ?
