  1. Not sure if they are any good but isn't there an Apple specialist in the building on Blackwater street, 30 yards down from William Rose ?
  2. As mentioned in the text of the OP but not the title, this may have more to do with the health centre than the school, in which case I doubt the head will be able to assist.

    Copenhagen

I?m going to visit Copenhagen for a few days in the near future. Anyone recommendations for things to see and do, places to go, places to eat and drink etc.
  5. Not sure which section this is appropriate for but anyway. One of the clients I work with made me aware of this apprentice scheme with Legal and General. Feel free to pass it on to anyone who could interested. https://apply.lgim.com/vacancies/5593/apprentice_software_developer
  6. Just seen Rob Brydon outside of the JAGS/Charter entrance where there's some other filming going on.
  7. Also saw the Ferryman last night. Brilliant, the three hours whizzed by for me. And yes the baby was very cute (and we'll behaved!) Bill Nighy, Anna Wintour and Jenni Murray in the audience !
  8. 4-2 Win to the Hamlet. 2,500 crowd. Play Bognor Regis on Monday 1st May in Playoff Final.
  9. Currently 4-1 up, hat-trick for Sekajja. 20 minutes left.
  10. Superdrug sell them.
  11. They've started work in earnest on the old Highshore school site and I spotted four large dumper trucks parked nearby this morning on my way to work. I'm expecting the same with the work going on for the new Heath Centre and school on East Dulwich Grove. A definite need for heightened awareness from all.
  12. On what criteria did you apply for listed status ?
  13. Louisa - I thought you drove everywhere. However it's very charitable for you to think of the rest of us.
  14. "Invaluable" to you maybe but personally I could give ####.
  15. Come on Louisa - everyone should be able to spoil themselves once in a while and if they feel like spending ?7.50 of their hard earned cash on a hotdog then they should be able to do so. I mean everyone should be able to spend on premium products once in a while, you know like popping into Space NK....
  16. I don't know this for sure as I'm not well travelled but do Asia street food sellers have to comply with the Health and Safety and have Food Hygiene training ?

Besides the UK is very different to Vietnam and Malaysia so it's no wonder that it's more expensive.
  18. Channel 4 News (@Channel4News) tweeted at 0:00 pm on Thu, Mar 09, 2017: Peckham?s black hair salons are known far and wide ? but they?re worried gentrification is moving them out of their home. https://t.co/Q5o5dooo7g ( )
  19. I my case it's optional, not mandatory.
  20. Re: privacy - the meter has the ability to send readings to your supplier every 30 minutes and some people have said that this represents an intrusion but personally I'm not bothered. Re: changing suppliers. I'm with First Utility and the letter I received did have some small print about the "advantages" not necessarily being able to be transferred were I to switch to a new supplier which seems completely crazy. The meters should be universal, surely.
  21. I've been offered free installation of a Smart Meter for my gas and electricity. Apart from privacy issues, which I'm not bothered about, are there any other downsides to having a smart meter fitted ?
  22. Fred - you can just enter "N/A" in the Reg Box on-screen form - I don't imagine it'll matter so long as you have checked the "rented van" box.
  23. The problem with this kind of thread is that the opinions sought are subjective and eventually everywhere in the locality that sells a coffee will get a mention.
