  1. Such a tool is our JK that I think he's the only celeb in living memory to be punched by the Paparazzi.
  2. Oh I admit *bob* its 35 million units of dirge but I think it qualifies as a success.
  3. JK is a knobjockey, there is no doubt. On the experience factor as a recording artist (that's what they all want to be isn't it?) I think his 35 million album sales probably swings it.
  4. I'm well and truly shellshocked. Millwall supporter or not, he's my broadcasting hero. C'mon Danny, with BROWN sauce in yer sarnie, you'll make it.
  5. To repeat ad infinitum previous posts, I have an iphone which is sh*t as a work based gadget, as a toy however its great. Blackberry does exactly what it's supposed to do, without sidetracking you into flicking paper into a bin, thankfully. My mate has had both, now has an HTC thingy and loves it. Desire I think.
  6. Tree Bark = Aspirin. 40,000 tonnes consumed per year. Ying and Yang innit.
  7. The power of marketing writ large.
  8. No it doesn't does it? I mean, West Ham winning a game....
  9. I know it's Fox but it does make sense of a very odd situation. http://www.foxsports.com.au/football/premier-league/fergie-in-cohorts-with-rooney-bosnich/story-e6frf4a3-1225944327776 In other news WEST HAM IN FOOTBALL GAME WIN SHOCK.
  10. It's not going to ED though. Denmark Hill I think.
  11. Yeah you're right. Great 'keeper.
  12. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00t0g9y/The_Secret_World_Series_2_Episode_3/ on I player at around 18.40, Alan Bennett replying to spam. Brilliant.
  13. Spreading the love. Aboard the P13 bus from Queens rd at 2.40 ish. I've never come across such a warm, friendly and caring driver. Not only did he seem to know EVERY lady to get on (all 60+), he waited for everyone to get to their seat before setting of, stopped 150 yards down the road to pick up tardy passengers, bid goodbye with booming cheerios, an all round good guy. It's obviously his shift , as at Peckham bus garage a lady gave him a can of Pepsi and a packet of crisps whilst dibbing her Oyster card. Fair warmed my cockles. The return from ED was altogether different and sadly more normal.
  14. Maybe he just wants a new challenge? Maybe he doesn't get along with Ferguson's all out affronting style, he wouldn't be the first. Maybe he's ambitious and his agent's/ playing friends/the press have convinced him that the crushing debt bestowed upon the club are drastically limiting the clubs future. He informed them on August 14th, contract negotiation time having 18 months left. I don't see that as lacking class. Cesc Fabregas is contracted to Arsenal until 2014 having signed an extension last year. That lacks class.

    Fireworks

The Chinese using fireworks to celebrate? Whatever next.....
  16. Just listened to one of the new owners of LFC on sportsweek. They sound , hopefully, that they have a better understanding of Liverpool and football than the previous two c**ts. Fingers crossed.
  17. Annasfield, cutting and pasting from the "Rafa is the greatest" website is hardly a rational argument and kind of proves my point. You say I don't know anything about Liverpool because I can't be bothered to find out, fair enough. How come you and a huge amount of Liverpool fans seem to know so much about the internal workings of your club? I've been a West Ham fan for 25 years, bought season tickets, know a few ex players, my daughter has been a mascot. I have no idea about their finances, I'm interested to find out how Liverpool fans get such transparency? I'm delighted the sale has gone through by the way, Forza Liverpool, hopefully it'll bring a modicum of reality.
  18. I don't know where you get the idea that owed money = free money. You sold players to Roma and Portsmouth, they don't pay up in the required time, the terms are elongated-whatever. It does not mean that the balancing of the books between two clubs devalues the face value of a purchase. Johnson and Aquilani cost ?38 million. Or maybe they didn't because you are Liverpool and you're different. FWIW I have a huge soft spot for Liverpool but I'm increasingly irritated by my Scouse friends and their endless financial blusterings that mean you live by different rules.
  19. "The club's revenue could service that, but couldn't invest in the team at the same time hence falling behind on the pitch." Aquilani, Johnson = the entire West Ham first team.
  20. jrussell=sheepdog Its all in the papers, next Janufeb, honest.
  21. Spokes-woman, spokesman, spokesperson. "enjoying the coffee, pasta, wine and return transfers to the hotel each day" Your online moniker is extremely appropriate.
  22. (tu)DD Give it up for your folks *directs two teenagers to thread*
  23. Edited for being a bit p**sed
  24. I might actually buy the paper tomorrow!
  25. All this huff Terry, all this puff. Shall we just blow this house down? Rather.
