I picked the wrong day to come up to our London offices... Three hours to get to South Mimms from Potters Bar.... I am so glad to be outta here on 26th, which probably has put the mockers on my flight. I have flown from Winnipeg in -32 and never a problem, must be the right kind of cold!

I am kind of conflicted about a tree this year. My wife comes back into the UK from Canada on the 18th, but her daughter is going to her father's Lake Tahoe home for Xmas. My girls are 16 and 19, so I expect fairly fleeting visits this year. I think it might be time for a Spanish trip from Boxing Day, maybe see the New Year arrive in Madrid or Barcelona. Ok I am now unconflicted, cheers!

It is interesting that whilst the HSW appplies to the armed forces, actually they enjoy what is called Crown immunity. This disallows statutory enforcement including penalties and prosecutions. So really nothing to report.....oh Snatch Landrovers!
