  1. I hope the transition goes smoothly for you Joe, I have tried logging into the new website that you provided a link for but it will not allow me to log in. Good luck with tonight.
  2. FOREST HILL ROAD,SE22; From 07:00 Wednesday 05 April until 17:00 Monday 10 April, route 63 is operating from Kings Cross to Peckham Rye and there is no service from Peckham Rye to Honor Oak due to Thames Water works. Buses towards Kings Cross will depart at Nigel Road (stop WM on Peckham Rye). FOREST HILL ROAD,SE22; From 07:00 Wednesday 05 April until 17:00 Monday 10 April, Routes 363 and N63 are on diversion due to Thames Water works. Buses towards Crystal Palace will miss stops from Friern Road to Underhill Road. Buses towards Peckham will miss stops from Underhill Road/Melford Road to Friern Road. Use the stops Lordship Lane/Wood Vale, The Gardens or Peckham Rye/Barry Road. Buses are diverted via Barry Road and Lordship Lane I did see 363's running in the direction towards Crystal Palace at lunchtime today from Underhill rd into Lordship Lane. In the opposite direction they where definitely on diversion down Lordship Lane and Barry Road.
  3. Who cares, it's more gossiping by people who have nothing better to do about something that is unimportant and irrelevant. Probably the same crew who slagged off Poundland opening on Lordship Lane, get a life for dears sake.
  4. Yes it is very sad news, he was a charming man, and he was only 67, way too young.
  5. The accounts make very interesting reading, specially those dated March - September 2019,

  7. Apparently there is no national standardisation of veterinary charges, surprised that is the case, they can charge what ever they like and "get away" with.
  8. Much prefer Shaun's DIY on Grove Vale. If you go through the main shop an Aladdin's cave awaits you out the back.
  9. Coffee being a supposed luxury is laughable, make it yourself at home. We all have a choice where we shop, what I see is people with more money than sense sitting in coffee shops and paying exorbitant prices for the pleasure. We're in the midst of a cost of living crisis, surely what you need surpasses what you want, unless of course you're trying to keep up with the "Jones's" Totally agree with Louisa's sentiment, and I'm more than happy that Louisa continues to have access to all the options on the forum we all have,
  10. Blame all the supermarkets who sell fruit and veg in plastic bags which is cheaper than fruit and veg in their natural skins, madness!!!!!!!
  11. Price for bananas in Sainsbury and Tesco is 90p/kg up from 78p.
  12. Dulwich College school building The heart of Dulwich Village Goose Green roundabout Top of Dog Kennel Hill looking South Dawson's Heights, shape of the building akin to a battleship The architecture of the remaining Dulwich Community Hospital buildings Dulwich library The church steeple at St. Johns, Goose Green. Visible from so many different directions, as is the church steeple of St. Peter at the junction of Dulwich Common
  13. 14 March 2023 Sad to report the untimely passing of Bobby Caldwell, "Robert Hunter Caldwell was an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He released several albums spanning R&B, soul, jazz, and adult contemporary. He is known for his soulful and versatile vocals."
  14. Joyce Simms, r n b vocalist (belated report) 13 October 2022. Come into my life, All and All
  15. and the newish one since they moved across the road on Rye Lane
  16. Use Krystals but since the business changed hands last year, service levels have varied, tbh a bit hit and miss. Used to be run like a well oiled machine. The ladies on the main counter are lovely to deal with, as is their post office.
  17. Thanks for your lengthy response. FHRGP do not appear to have access to hospital blood test results, which is honestly absurd. "the left hand still does not not know what the right hand is doing" There was no option of verbal consent, the lad behind the counter printed the form once and then reprinted it, I expect to include the testing but conveniently failed to mention it or give me the option to opt out. The lady who took the bloods at Tessa Jowell Centre proceeded to take three vials of blood and only when I pointed out I did not consent to HIV testing, that she wrote that on the form. I'm guessing it was still probably tested. FHRGP approach was underhand and sly. However in their defence, the Practice Manager did agree that I should have been told and given the option to opt out. She said she was going to talk to both reception and clinical staff about this. I feel she realised an error had occurred through the "forgetfulness" otherwise known as the carelessness of the lad on reception.
  18. Wayne Shorter
  19. Having failed to provide a service before. during and after Christmas 2022, Royal Mail 15% for 1st class letters and 10% for 2nd class letters. How can such an increase ne justified? Beggars belief.
  20. I'm guessing it's close to the end of the financial year and of course highways need to spend the remaining budget so they have this work done, but then I'm just speculating, maybe its a conspiracy theory, who knows. But to be serious, why was this work not done at the same time as when Conways extended the pavements by the primary school. Would have been all done in one go then.
  21. Seems as though the roadworks on Underhill road did not commence, and all the signs saying when and how long it would last have all gone, the P13 was running on the way back this afternoon along the road.
  22. In Lewisham for 2023/24 it is rising from £85 to £93.50, a 9.95% increase, "We have tried to keep our subscription charges as low as possible, however due to increased operational costs imposed upon the service we have had to raise the subscription fee for the coming year to £93.50" The previous year it rose by £6.25%, £80 to £85.
  23. The P13 seems to have suffered most over the last 18months or so being on diversion due to roadworks meaning parts of the route are not served plus the impact of the recent Abellio strikes. This time to parts of the route are being diverted due to road works, Bellenden Road and Whately and Underhill Road's. Shame they could not have done these works during the strikes. And how many times do they intend to excavate Bellenden Road, last time it was for extending pavements, road narrowing including by the primary school. All very frustrating. Not much we can do but try to find alternative ways of accessing transport, so much for the TfL slogan "every journey matters" On a seperate point I notice that when bus shelters are replaced with new one's, those that had bus waiting times displayed are not being replaced. By the cemetery on Forest Hill Road, the new stand had this new bus tracking system, however its upside down, the wonders of TfL never cease!!!
