  1. London does not need a Mayor of London, we were fine before and we can get on with our lives without Khan who is a dictator and tyrant, in fact we do not need one FULLSTOP. All he does is extract money from Londoners, continually increasing the costs Londoners endure on a daily basis. The rational for imposing ULEZ in outer London boroughs, however the outer London boroughs do not need ULEZ, they are probably the greenest boroughs in London anyway, i.e. Bromley. Khan has successfully contradicted himself, it is nothing less than a money grab in an attempt to cover the hige errors he made with TfL during the pandemic when transport in London was free. He messed up, why is ne making Londoners pay for his mistakes. How about cutting the excessive salaries of TfL senior management staff.
  2. My issues are two fold, this is being done WITHOUT consent, the Practice Manager admitted it is optional, the receptionist failed to tell me this or give me the option. So what is being done is underhand and on the sly. I do not want my data shared with a third party (especially Southwark Council) without my consent. FHRGP is breaching GDPR as the information on the appointment booking in screen can be seen by members of the public, The screen needs to be moved to a more appropriate position.
  3. I was contacted by FHRGP for an annual blood test, so I went to collect the paperwork (although Tessa Jowell centre have a system whereby all that is needed is a reference number, that's how Kings College Hospital arrange outpatient blood tests). Anyhow, on reading through the paperwork that had been handed to me, one of the blood tests was HIV Screening. This got me wondering, who or why would this be screened for? And if it's apparently Optional (right yeah), then why are patients not given the option to opt out of the screening. I was told my the Practice Manager that Southwark Council request this to be done with all blood tests. I was flabbergasted and taken aback. WHY would Southwark Council be screening it's residents for HIV? and Why? And why was none of this explained when the blood test form was passed to me that it's optional (although apparently it should have been but was NOT). And now doubt FHRGP get paid for this!!! From the data the council will know how many people will have tested positive or negative, assume they are gay and who these people are. Because surely if someone did test positive, the practice will need to contact them to offer them treatment. But it will certainly be an interesting conversation if they did not know they were being screened for HIV in the first place. This opens a can of worms for FHRGP. So at the TJC funnily enough they took THREE vials of blood, and on asking why, I was to be screened for HIV although I had told the Practice Manager I did not want to be screened. So on the bottom of the form are the stickers which are attached to the vials. Again the process is not open and transparent. The lady wrote I did not want to be screened and I assume screening will not take place. SO how about confidentiality and my human rights at FHRGP, I had to ask to go into a side room for the discussion at the practice as the Practice Manager tried to start the discussion in reception. NOT ON. GDPR - the screen in reception where you book in for your appointment breaches GDPR regulations as you can see users date of birth, name and appointment time. If you can see the data, that is a breach of the regulations, I suggest the screen is moved to a more appropriate location or patients refuse to use it as it breaches GDPR.
  4. Good to see that you're seeking feedback on your proposed changes. Since you took over ownership you have gradually added small changes and additions to improve what is available for users to delve into. So any of these new proposed changes will have been through some level of "testing" by users so if and when they go live it will provide confidence to users that what has changed has been previously scrutinised. It will be interesting to see the changes being rolled out and the format and what can be done as a result of the changes.
  5. If you take a look at the schools Ofsted performance, it has come on leaps and bounds from were it was performing academically. In the most recent Ofsted inspection now four year's ago, it was graded by Ofsted as being Outstanding in all categories, that is phenomenal and demonstrates how far the school has progressed at giving its pupils the opportunity to meet and exceed their expectations. Bearing in mind where the school is in Peckham, in south east London, that makes it even more of a success story. I went there as a pupil in the 1970's, so to see how well it is doing, fills me with joy.
  6. Start by scrapping OFGEM
  7. What is the POINT of posting the same article twice, get a life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Seconded We've got enough poncey over priced shops already, so thumbs up for Poundland, "getting back to Basics".
  9. What's that got to do with poorly dumped Lime bikes, how about staying on the topic, I'll remind you that it is LIME BIKES.
  10. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-politics-64552137 "New Cabinet appointments in full The new appointments announced as part of the PM's mini-reshuffle have also been confirmed in the last few moments. These are: Grant Shapps - Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero Kemi Badenoch - Secretary of State for Business and Trade Lucy Frazer - Secretary of State for Culture, Media, and Sport Michelle Donelan - Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology Greg Hands - new Tory Party chairman" Four new Departments created
  11. Closed between the two mini roundabouts due to road traffic accident and 363 currently on diversion
  12. If they have been kicked out, unlikely they will have any further access. A Landlord would want the tenant gone and will then clear the premises. Put a note through the door stating you are a customer, the item you want to collect and some contact details, hopefully that may work.
  13. Yesterday Thames Water were working on the leak on Forest Hill Road and the one on Langton Rise has been repaired.
  14. That's a really useful tool.
  15. Saw one 63 at on Peckham Road opposite the bus station otherwise no others. And saw two P13's one going into DKN Sainsbury's going towards New Cross and one going towards Streatham. A woman on Whately Road said she and her husband had waited an our for a P13 going towards New Cross. Seems today is a very sparse service on both the 63 and P13, if you catch one, as I did, I felt lucky.
  16. That's a helpful update, thanks
  17. Thanks for update.
  18. Christmas trees still on pavement close to junction of Woodvale and Langton Rise.
  19. Looks like it will provide an alternative to Co-op, so not a bad thing at all, bearing in mind on that part of LL there are no other similar stores. Perhaps some of the "independents" will up their game a bit.
  20. There was a service on both the 63 and P13 earlier today, so not clear about why they say they are on "strike" but buses are running. Not a moan, was very happy to see these today.
  21. The quoted garden waste collection fees are still 30% cheaper than Lewisham. Perhaps the charge should be the same across all 35 London Boroughs and agreed annually by an Ombudsman.
  22. Further strike dates reported by TfL "Strike action is planned by Abellio drivers from Wednesday 1 until Friday 3 February, which is expected to affect 60 bus routes, mostly in west and south London. This is in addition to the strikes already announced for tomorrow (Wednesday 25th) and Thursday 26 January."
  23. Water leak on Langton rise and frozen over the past few days due to the freezing temperatures, Ditto on the Forest Hill Road entrance to The Woodvale Estate.
  24. The label says "if the light is flashing or an alarm is sounding there maybe a fault with the drainage device. In the event of this or any other emergency phone 08000562625" There may be a drainage problem hence the device has been installed will be my guess, ask the seller why it is there.
  25. There are multiple catalytic converter thefts just across the postcode boundary in SE23. About a week ago we had a hit and run accident with a mini being written off and a BMW X4 also being effectively written off.
