  1. I rememberITATM, was glad to see the back of Pimlico at the end. For those of us who tried to challenge it, I think by the end we knew it was a done deal.
  2. http://www3.westminster.gov.uk/docstores/publications_store/Responses%20received%20to%20Public%20Notice%20on%20Proposed%20Closure%20of%20Pimlico%20School.pdf link to responses against future taking over Pimlico school, there was a worry then of the inexperience of future, it was very obvious there was a political agenda.
  3. The adjjuvant (a substance that enhances the bodys immune response to an antigen), In the swine flu vaccine was Os03=oil based squalene, these vaccines are banned in US. Hence the second link above. CDC centers for disease control is currently sponsoring an an international study on the association between adjuvanted monvalent 2009 H1N1 influenza vaccine and narcolepsy. The study is expected to be completed in 2014.
  4. Hi smiler, its a u-turn over the connection with glaxo, smith and klines swine flu vaccine with narcolepsy. If you google the title of this thread adding narcolepsy, then telegraph, although lots of reporting of it. Sorry i'd do a summary myself but probably best to read it yourself.
  5. Laurahw, No I thought it would be of interest to some people, as bodsier says above.Regardless whether you may think I have "an axe to grind" This is something beingg reported in the news based on facts not speculation, making it irrelevant who the OP is,
  6. http://12160.info/m/blogpost?id=2649739%3ABlogPost%3A70014 an article on squalene written January 2011.

  9. http://www.greenmedinfo.com/blog/breaking-news-us-based-agency-path-violated-law-during-hpv-vaccine-trials-india India parliament recognises money being put before children. Edited to add http://samawomenshealth.wordpress.com/
  10. http://www.historytoday.com/matt-carr/cloaks-daggers-and-dynamite Piece on non religious anarchist terror. Taking religion out of the equation, I do not believe it would stop attrocities, people or groups commiting these acts in the name of religion makes other reasons they may have insignificant, as religion is seen as the problem. In no way am I condoning these actions, I myself am not religious and like many on here, have been able to raise my children to have a fundamental understanding of rights and wrongs. Regardless of how they were brought up they have respect for other peoples beliefs. people attach themselves to groups, beliefs, etc often losing individual identity and find a cause.
  11. Parsley either dried or fresh, made into tea, compress.
  12. I think this is a much bigger issue reflecting many problems in the education system. thousands of parents are fined every year, many for taking holidays during school time. Here's a recent link http://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/news/10177925.Swindon_parents_fined_tens_of_thousands_of_pounds_for_children_missing_school/ Renata, I'm sure I read recently the goverment is not going ahead with a proposal to automatically take fines from benefits, can you confirm this please. I do not believe fining parents is not the answer to truancy, there are many troubled families, with individual complex problems, where fining and the threat of prison only adds to there problems. It is a long time since I looked at private companies either running or partly running schools, in relation to truancy, but there was a significant increase in the amount of parents being fined, eg serco group, whether this is still the case I can't say. always difficult to get this info.
  13. I think it does raise question DJK, I'm not sqeamish to blood or gore either, but meat cleaver in the hand of a guy who's just butchered someone. I can understand somone wanting to help but to film and post without a thought for he victims family, who might not have even been informed yet.Its interesring what the article says about random fanatics and political terrorists, the definition of terror in this casis is not obvious by reactions. If as the article suggest that peoples reality is intermingled with desire for fame or a loss of connection to the horror, what a sorry state.
  14. I find it strange that many of the people standing about or passing seemed to show no signs of fear. And if it was a member of the public that filmed him, as has been reported, can't imagine, i'd be terrified.
  15. We hear again and again after killings, "god told me to do it" but I've never known it cause people to react against christianity. My grown up children were saying the amount of racism coming through the net was unbelievable. This is a horrific thing to happen but it is crazy to blame a religion for two individuals act. Didn't Bush himself say, god told me to end the tyranny in Iraq, and by god I will. I feel for the family and loved ones, and hope they have some privacy to grieve. sorry edited for mistake on bush quot
  16. http://www.mind.org.uk/help/mind_in_your_area/244 Southwark mind (link above) I used this service for advice, although it was about 10years ago. I was looking more for advice for my nephew, who refused to come with me. I decided to go to a party that was being held that week and found people really helpful, maybe worth checking, if they can't offer help they may be able to advise where it can be had.
  17. Hi Lenka, depends on whether you're using public transport or car, how much you can take.I've always used public transport which limits what you can take. tarp and rope to make a shelter incase of rain is very handy. old newspapers in a carrier bag to start fire, if you intend to cook on fire. medicines you'd use for first aid, The only place i've camped close to london was epping forest many years ago. It often takes us all day travelling to get to site, but a great feeling when the tents are up. great adventure for children and adults. Hope you find somewhere nice and its the beginning of many great times in the great outdoors.
  18. http://news.sky.com/story/1089813/bedroom-tax-blamed-for-womans-suicide This woman left a suicide note blaming goverment, after struggling to pay her bedroom tax. Of course, there are many things that lead to this act, but there are many people who are struggling day to day with mental and physical health problems who are facing losing there homes. I cannot understand how tackling the issues of under occupied houses with bedroom tax without any attempt to consult or offer alternative housinng for people in this situation.
  19. Epping forest is a great place to party, camp and have a fire. Link to a campsite, maybe booking as a group you'll get a discount as its quite expensive.i've camped here many moons ago and from link looks much the same. http://yellowfieldscamping.co.uk/2012/06/19/review-debden-house-2-epping-forest-london/
  20. Just checked my grandchilds, who has had full certificate since birth, And has passport using that certificate and yes it has certified copy on it,
  21. My son had to get a full birth certificate for his passport as he only had an extract. Just checked it, and it does say certified copy on it. I'd give them a phone, good luck.
  22. LM The chemicals regulatory directorate is funded 60% by agrochemical industry, I thhink about ?7,000,000 that does not sit well with me. Scientific studies and there findings have been ignored by goverment. Sorry cant put up links now,I am not denying bans have been put in place How they come about is a different matter.I do not want to go off cosmetic topic, which is a concern but not a main concern for me,
  23. http://www.southwarkmind.org.uk/details.asp?Resource=Gateway%20Clinic gateway clinic does accupuncture and ther therapys free, need a referral from gp, details above.
  24. It has not been my findings in life, many dangers have been banned through public and some may say conspiracy theorists groups, and scientists not giving up the fight, often where companies, Companies put profits before people. No I would not like to see the above banned, people should have a choice and of course you have to prioritise on an individual level what worries you most. The fact you mistrust the powers who decide whats best for you, by your reasoning that would make a large part of the population insane. I do believe there is an name in psychiatric terms for people who believe everyone else is mad if there opinions differ so much from there own. I'm sure you know that one, you being the expert on madness, if not you've always got google.
  25. Huguenot Science itself disagrees with many issues the fact people choose what they read and comes to there own opinion does not make them paranoid. And as shocking or obscure as this may seem to you, many people would not consider buying product for thereselves or children without checking the ingredients, where do you suppose they came to that idea.Or would this also be considered in your opinion irrational and disappropriatr. Dg asked for a link and I gave one. Lady d greenpeace have and continue to fight this case. And further regulatios will be looked at by the end of this year. Sorry can't put up link at mo.we all have different things which cause us concern, what others may see as paranoia does not make it real.
