Thanks CGPC Are you saying that soon all state run AP's will be funded by central goverment, whhilst at the moment it is by local authority. I have no experience with cbt and realise cognitive dissonance is when there is discrepancies between your beliefs and actions. I suppose we all mostly must recognise this on different levels, in a, I know I shouldn't but I will, sort of a way.I think through life you learn to question your own behaviour, In regards to vaccines I can't see this being a problem unless unsure about you decision, I think most people who have looked at information to help them decide may have been unsure, but I wouldn't call that CD. Battersea park school was inspected by Triba last year and will now become a Harris Academy in September this year. No hysterics here, my decision to not vaccinate was before wakefield, as i've said. Taking into account the fact you believe pharmys to be "dodgy" you trust them enough to make an informed decision to vaccinate. I find it very strange you would see me running around as a headless chicken,because I chose not to vaccinate. What worries me most about many of these posts is the hysterics of the herd mentality, it encourages people to believe there should be no choice, regardless of these "dodgy" pharmys. So tell me then how it feels to think your children are protecting, then find out there have been no sufficient test done, and trials withheld about safety from pharmaceutical companies. Many big pharmaceuticals make pesticides and although many have been banned in the western world there are still made and sold in poorer countries. Looking at other vaccines, the swine flu vaccine in 2009, thread on here about it, within 6 months of this vaccine being administered to children, there were people on the streets protesting about the side effects, narcolepsy, I think in Sweden, sorry can't check. In particular the adjuvant squalene was one ingredient recognised as a danger. Of course the people worried about this got the usual reaction from people who believe you shouldn't have children uunless you vaccinate. It took 3 different countries doing independent studies linking this vaccine to narcolepsy before glaxo smith and kline did there study regardless of the fact they were the manufactors. Most of the sites people who vaccinate ridicule, put up concerns about this vaccine especially squalene. I put a link up here when our goverment made a turn around on the link of this vaccine to narcolepsy. And were looking again at claims for vaccine damage which had previously been denied. Many people seem to think this is about wakefiel, I have said before, my choice was made before this and as yunna said this is not exclusively about autism.
