Bach rescue remedy cream is gentle, I have known it to help both children and adults, as its something he's never had before, I would look for any changes that may be the cause. Hope it clears.

Harris Free School Primary on Hospital Site

James "The nunhead area according to Southwark council reports there will be a shortage of 75-90 places on top of the existing shortage" James, are you saying Renata has somehow got the wrong info regarding Nunhead schools being under subscribed, Is the figures you gave above soley for the Nunhead area. I fear when conflicting views regarding facts are put up by politicians, Instead of answers we get innuendos. -

James is there many that advise NHS, I find it suspicious Tribal (one of ofsteds contracters) who Moynihan is e employed, after visiting a school in Battersea which is then closed, will open this year as a Haarris. This was spoken about earlier in thread. And now we have an Nhs site, which you yourself seem baffled to thhe change of heart. I believe the article i've posted above, dated day after Goves reply, connecting Moynihan as a model for Nhs. James do you believe Harris have behaved fairly. -

Can't see why a meeting has not been called where questions can be answered to the community, rather than individuals Perhaps asking the same question. Have I missed something, has Haberdashers now committed 100% to being providers. -

James I thought you said earlier. "we're hopeful that the purpose of the steering group will come to an end when an agreement provider is made and we pass the project to that provider to run and deliver". Is this still the case. -

Sorry James, I just don't get that, surely it is part of the admission phase to look at preferred places with places available, it used to be Southwark Council allocated a place in a school under subscribed if you did not get any of your preference. Is this still the process, it seems obvious the places available will be common knowledge to those dealing with this situation. Im sure parents who did not get there preference would want to know which schools are available. The figures above do not show people moving to/out of London applying late, this was given as a reason for loss of Gcsemissing pupils, if this is true I'd imagine it would have an affect throughout. -

James can you give data on how many spaces are still available in southwark schools, thanks. What is the likely hood of these figures changing, waiting list, or does Southwark council now write to these parents offering a place in a school which is not over subscribed. -

Shuggy, local goverment made the prposal for the two schools to be amalgamated. Isn't the provider involved with the confidentiality agreement, once more, can you tell me the reason forthis. ITatm, I agree about travelling, when my oldest child started secondary there wasn't one school in peckham that offered over 16 education. I was not living in Dulwich then, but we were happy with the school we choose, I also went the first few weeks with my son, until he made a new freind that lived near attending the same school. Up until secondary my children had never walked to primary alone, although only 15min walk, there were two main roads and as someone has said, often there was trouble with kids on the street. Yes the bus could take long, as they got older they walked home. I followed the progress of charter school opening, although many peple in my area felt our children had been abanded in relation to choices in local schools. As far as resistance, james has commented on the resistance from local council, and the turn around regarding this school but does notexplain the reasoning. -

Thanks Shuggy, I meant the reason for not divulging the provider. (I was not clear), I think it would have been better if local people could have had some input on the provider, we were told Haberdashers or prendergast, I'm assuming its between those. I realise the steering group can't say, bbut with info previously given, I do not understand the secrecy. Lets hope there more forthcoming with other news, it does not give me confidence that this venture is parent driven. Regarding the planning situation for the hospital site, I would be worried about the power local goverment has, as can be seen in my link above regArding Sulivan school. Whos to say in the near future who will be elected. Although its always the same, they started it. I'm wondering if this confidential agreement is a legal requirement, if not, I think there should have been A question over any provider who thinks its ok to not give any explenation fot why this must be. -

Is the steering group recieving help or guidance with the application, did parents have educational institutions in mind, of course I know theres a confidentiality agreement, and understand the group representing parents and locals may feel put in a position of secrecy, but i am interested in the process, who is involved besides the providers, for whatever reason that has not been divulged. http://www.leftfootforward.org/2014/01/tory-council-to-close-award-winning-primary-so-a-free-school-can-have-its-land/ heres a link where two London primary schools were amalgamated, one being under subscibed, creating space for a free secondary school. Its surprising how much power local goverment have. http://www.fulhamsw6.com/default.asp?section=info&page=sulivan014.htm I think there's lessons to be learnt outside of our own area, i'm sure james would attach what happened th Sulivan school to the Tory party. Can anyone tell me what's happening on 31st march, decision???? -

Thanks, I didn't know whether the choice between the two providers had been made, will this be made before the application is submitted, how will the decision be made.I think this is a great chance to show transparency and involve people. -

Thanks Belle, I really would like to see a school where parents are involved, and I think it would be good for people outside the schools steering group parents to meet the steering group. It is not always easy for people to post and express there views, I myself find I have typed something, when re-read, which has came over unclear. I met a young single mum the other day with her daughter, I told her about the forum, not in relation to schools, and she told me although she had a phone she rarely has credit. It would be a nice way to include people. Simonethebeaver, Firstly I would like to know the chosen provider, maybe this is on twitter or facsbook , i'm on neither. Would it be possible for one of the steering group to put up ideas that have been given from parents the steering group are in contact with. The admission policy, a school that recognises room for change has been mentioned here, an academic school which encourages creativity, a disipline where respect is a two way thing, an enviromental built school which will enable practical teaching (solar), It woul also be good to hear the providers ideas of the sort of school they want. Thanks for posting it just feels good to hear from the parents of the steering group, although we may have different ideas I believe you will do your best for the children, good luck. -

James, I'd be more pleased to know, which cabinet member, which 3 council members and of course which provider. You said you prefer an application to be supported by the council, regardless of it having no impact on the decision, I think its good cross parties can reach agreement on decisions, but in the small time local authority are involved I think its reasonable to be given names of people who are speaking for us, so we can follow this process. -

Sorry, phone playin up,As I was saying james, lookin at this company does not give me any faith in the privitisation of our schools. I can spend all day posting links about this company, the monopoly that was grown regardless of mistakes but I neither have the time or the energy, http://www.atkinsglobal.com/investor-relations/financial-news/2013/2013-11-19 Here's one I worry about thoughh (link above) I apoligise to parents for what may seem off topic, but my children were in school when this corruption was going on, And very much like today, parents did not have a voice and could not get answers from either local or central goverment, when this agreement fell apart. We are now seeing monopolies of academy trusts, I look at a company that should have been held to account but instead I've seen a company that has grown over the years, but still momopolising business.
