Lots of signs and leaflet up in Sainsburys DKH today informing one and all that the store will only open from 7am to midnight from next week.

I wonder if this is a wider Sainsburys business decision to lower costs. I thought their profits were OK? And DKH is apparently one of their more profitable stores.

Just rechecked in the store and, nope, no more 24 hour shopping from the 9 May. Bookhopper had it right:

7am - Midnight Mon-Fri

7am - 10pm Saturday

11am - 5pm Sunday
