Yup, I had the same experience with se23 dot com - one of the forum rules that the "Webmaster" has is that you are not allowed to discuss the forum. I persisted, did the bad thing twice and have now had my posting rights revoked.

Maybe the EDForum (which is much more of a benevolent dictatorship) could have an area for se23 dot com refugees?

So the user "lovely" also went onto wikipedia and deleted the link to the East Dulwich Forum from the East Dulwich page! And then put a link to the other forum (whose links I've had removed from this post) calling it "The community forum for East Dulwich".

If you're going to be competition for this forum Steve please play fairly.

It was all worth it for the comedy denial though. Like a child covered in chocolate who claims not to have been anywhere near the biscuit barrel.

What a plum.

Hmmm ... the link says Mark has opted to hide his address because he's a non-trading individual. Surely not correct, in regard to the sponsored ads here?

    • In my experience there is no fool proof solution to this with any company. Delivery drivers are people and people will make mistakes, cut corners, mis-understand instructions or simply not read them.  I've left instructions for parcels with just about every single company out there and at some point they've all screwed up.  I think the security camera is the best deterrent for thieves. In this case, my ring door bell spooked them off. I've just installed warning signs at my safe space to make it even clearer that they're being recorded. In the case that mistakes do still happen by the couriers, at least I know about it on the camera and can try to alert a neighbour if I'm not home.  Its sad that we have to turn our homes into fort knox with cameras but that's the world we live in.
