Are you spraying that very expensive perfume under your arm pits?:-S Oh well, whatever cranks your engine I guess...or in your case, whatever tickles your fanny!

Dickensman, sorry can't help you other than to say that a daily bath or shower helps enormously:)).

And Narnia, fly spray? That explains a great deal...in fact, it's all starting to make sense now...

Hey Cheeky Monkey, you know I was teasing - right? Anyway, just thought I'd mention that you might have become sensitive or even allergic to the "chemicals" in "regular" deodorants. You could try using those sold in Health Shops (your nearest one would be Health Matters on Lordship Lane). They can cost an arm, a leg and a backbone though, but tend to do the job without any unwanted side effects (in conjunction with my yearly shower - of course;-)). Alternatively, there is a relatively chemical free one made by Maine (Sainsburys DKH sell it) which is very good (it is performing extremely well in 26 degree temperatures as I type). Sorry I was flippant earlier - I should have responded seriously.

LadyMeadow.

    • Hi, I accidentally drove off and left a red travel longchamp bag with various clothes / makeup in on Dovercourt Road earlier today... if anyone managed to pick it up please do let me know!  Nothing valuable is in it, just clothes and make-up that I'd love to get back if I can!

    • What about Dulwich park?
    • Looking at the areas which will be receiving funds, there seems to be a couple of pretty fundamental flaws with the scheme. In many of these areas, spend isn't migrating from high streets to online, there simply isn't any disposable income to migrate. No amount of tarting a place up is going to change the fact that these places are the poorest and most deprived in country - people simply have nothing to spend. Secondly, a lot of these areas no longer have an extant retail infrastructure to improve upon - it went donkey's years ago, along with the pubs. My childhood high street is getting a grant. Maybe they'll liven up Market Street by celebrating our notable locals - they could commission a Ricky Hatton mural, a statue of The Moors Murderers or a 'Walk of Shame' pavement for Harold Shipman's victims (it's quite a long street). But, whatever it is, I doubt it's going to show a decent return when the only businesses still trading are 'Bargain Booze' outlets, Bangladeshi takeaways, bookies and barbers.
