Arsenal / Manchester United. The "your team smells", "No, your team smells" thread

Recommended Posts

I think it's quite funny. Bet Keef is taking a peek every so often to see who's killed who. In fact lots of people appear to be peeking - judging by the amount of hits v actual posts figures.

Narnia, you've given me the first laugh of the day with that joke: just as well LG, Sean, and EC aren't around to clip you one round the ear. But then, even Arsenal supporters must have a sense of humour - yes?:))

you're too funny for words, and people call my posts "bile filled". But I won't stoop to your level and trawl the web for gems such as yours.

Ah come on EC, you must admit it was funny. Any team name could have been used - Man. U even - and it still would have been funny.

Be honest, didn't you even laugh just a teeny weeny bit?

OK OK...look...how about this one then...

Q: What's the difference between Alex Ferguson and God?

A: God doesn't think he's Alex Ferguson.

Funny? I'm laughing!:)) And I happen to think that AF is a very good manager. But a joke is a joke.

I was simply making a point. Had I posted something similar, doubtless I would've been castigated. It seems that when I post something others raise their hands in mock horror, yet others post similiar things and its not an issue. I think double standards operate on here as has been pointed out by others on here, apart from myself. Any danger of parity on here? You gotta laugh haven't you.

    • I think it's a good idea and follows the example of other towns/areas. As it says in the article, the area around the main tourist attractions in Southwark, that is The Globe, Southwark Cathedral, Tate Modern and the whole walking route from London Bridge to Blackfriars, takes a lot of maintaining and it shouldn't be a burden on regular council tax payers like us.
