My boiler broke over the weekend and I was recommended by a friend to call Niko.

He made himself available for me within hours (all other plumbers said they couldn't see me until Monday).

Within 30 mins he managed fix the problem so I had hot water running again.

Very skilled and diligent, can't recommend him enough.

He's also a general handyman.

Hi there, if you're looking for a great plumber I highly recommend Niko who is just the best. He is experienced, knowledgeable and gives excellent advice if you are unsure of how to proceed and is very reasonably priced. I continue to call him for any problems and he always fixes it! His number is 07818 607583.

Another enthusiastic recommendation for Niko (07818 607583). Polite, trustworthy, did a great job at a good price and was really communicative throughout. It was a bit of an unusual job - installing a new toilet, but with new floorboards going in midway through - and he was willing to improvise and be flexible around the demands of the task. He's also offered a lot of free plumbing advice on how to plan and make jobs more cost-effective. Highly recommended!

Another recommendation for Niko, he?s been resolving tricky plumbing problems for me and my neighbour for many years now, most recently diagnosing and fixing a tricky blockage, having come over within an hour of a call. He also recently fixed a fairly major leak, replacing some dodgy pipework. Great number to have in your phone.
Another recommendation for Niko. He was really honest with us about the problem with the flush on our toilet, tried at first to see if he could fix it without replacing any parts, left it a few weeks and then came back when the problem persisted. Friendly, reliable and good value. Highly recommend.

In case anyone is looking for a reliable plumber, I can recommend Niko at +44 7818 607583. He came round on the same day I called to help me fix a bathroom radiator, which is now working perfectly. Wouldn?t hesitate to ask him to help on other plumbing issues.

Niko came to my rescue with a leaky washing machine before Christmas. I was rather upset and at the end my tether having had everything go wrong with my flat after falling victim to cowboy builders (wish I'd found this forum sooner). Niko came promptly, gave me a quick fix and is coming back to sort out some other less urgent problems next week. He was so kind and thoughtful, I really appreciated it.
Another recommendation for Niko. He gave some really helpful advice over the phone and was really kind to squeeze us in late in the evening to replace a leaking tap. Also fitted my mother's washing machine when we were really stuck. He goes the extra mile and is a very nice guy.
Niko sorted out our thoroughly blocked kitchen sink at short notice in the evening last week, and came back a few days later to reconstruct the pipe work. He knows his stuff, is full of excellent advice and does not cut any corners. We can highly recommend Niko 07818607583

Another recommendation for Niko. We have been using him for a couple of years and he is always reliable and helpful. This week we had a leak from a pipe valve. Niko sourced a replacement valve and fitted it quickly. Very pleased. Thanks Niko. His mobile is 07818607583.

Very happy to add my own experience to those described above.

Niko was recommended by a sparky whom I trust. Recently, when other local plumbers weren't even responding to texts, he got back to me, took an interest and gave me some good initial advice. We had a couple of dodgy taps - one of those 'small' jobs that's very annoying and needs sorting. Which Niko did. Not to mention he's good for a chat and a laugh - and god knows we need a bit of that in these times. Efarist?, Niko.

    • Another recommendation for Niko - fitted me in the next day, simple fix rather than trying to upsell and a nice guy as well. Will use again
    • Looks great! but could it be possible to pinch the frames a bit tighter with some long nose pliers and add more struts to stop the tree rats getting inside? Also, the only issue with a mesh base is that it could attract rats towards your property.
    • I struggled with the parakeets literally decimating the bird feeders within an hour.  I tried squirrel proof ones to see if they helped, but they jammed their claws in the mechanism to stop it closing.  Then the pigeons managed to do the same.  I spent a long time researching the best ideas and came across something on Pinterest.  Someone had used a metal dog cage and attached it to a wooden platform.  So that's what I did!  Once set up, you just hang the feeders inside.  Large birds like pigeons and parakeets cannot get inside.  I get all the small birds, plus starlings.  Not many thrushes or blackbirds around, so have no idea if they could get in.  The squirrels do!  It's amazing watching them slide through narrow gaps.  I also covered the roof of the cage with a piece of plastic to keep the rain off, plus I am just about to replace the cage plastic base with something more mesh like.  It can get a bit gooey after a while, so with mesh, all the dropped seed from the messy goldfinches, will go on to the ground where the pigeons can clear up.  I even added a birdcam.
    • Yep, of course I do - did you not read the bit from the survey about the noise having a negative impact on foraging bats? And like @Angelina I'm aware it affects other people, and if no one complains then it gives them an argument that's it's all ok.  The tree in question was a cherry that everyone loves, didn't need to be touched, and the council admitted was a mistake and shouldn't have happened.  The council and Gala use the 'local' narrative as a benefit, without any figures to back it up. It is used as an argument for the event to go ahead, when there's no basis of fact. The attendees are clearly not local as they've proved they don't give a **** about the area. The council do tell us where the money is spent - 100% on running the Events dept, and a myriad of unlisted free events. They just don't tell us how much, so that we can make an informed decision on whether the gain is with the pain.  Sorry, what was your point again?
