When I voted I made the point that they shouldn't have anything which blocked visibility.


Quite apart from other issues.


I suggested large plants rather than a tree.


A palm tree is really going to blend well with the surroundings, isn't it. Not.


Oh well, at least we aren't getting some council person's idea of good art. Or a twee signpost (whose idea was that ffs).

Global warming my bum! I had to put the heating on this weekend! If this weather carries on the roundabout is going to look like one of those news reports you get from Florida when they get hit by a Hurricane. All rain-lashed streets and a palm tree bent sideways by the wind.

    • Wow!  Is this the remnants of a wood pigeon?  We occasionally see the feathers following a kill but only once have I seen the hawk in the garden and certainly not like your experience.
