Well there's no excuse for that!! Have you not seen your prezzies in the Secret Santa thread...somebody has bought you a hedge trimmer!! And you've some other pressies too. Go see...

And congratulations to you on cooking Christmas Dinner...I can quite see now how you haven't had time to attend to your hedge! You are not multi-tasking then?

*rings Brum*

Brum: Hello

Ladymuck: Hi, it's me, Ladymuck. I just wondered if you got invited to Daizie's Christmas dinner?

Brum: No I did not! Did you?

Ladymuck: No I didn't either. We are obviously not good enough for her...her and her two toilets and all.

Brum: Hmmmph!

Ladymuck: Hmmph indeed! I wouldn't mind, but have you seen the state of her hedge?

Brum: Yes, it's rather overgrown isn't it. Needs a good trim I would say.

Ladymuck: Quite! I'd be embarrassed to allow everyone to view my hedge in that condition.

Brum: Ah well, c'est la vie.

Ladymuck: Oui. Bye then.

Brum: Bye.

    • Without doubt.. just seem to expect others or council to deal with it…no, don’t think it is that …just the fact that people these days are working hard, tired, stressed.. what were houses are now converted into flats…there is community spirit, well hope so.. neighbours hardly see one another, let alone know each other as work schedule is no longer 7/9 …only older more established people who have lived in area, and not making a quick buck, understand… people don’t even have the time to talk to neighbours unless annoyed or complaining.. when was the last time one smiled and said hello..or even started a conversation in a queue?
