I have given the chandelier a call and they only take bookings for food on the weekend. Does anybody have any other suggestions or would people be happy with food? They say they might be able to accommodate us on the day but that obviously depends on how busy they are and we are a big group.

Sorry to hear you're not well Em, hope you feel better soon. Anita, what a pain about the builder! Hope he's turned up now.


Lovely to see / meet you all today and sorry I had to rush off but looking forward to the next meet up. Maybe we could meet in a couple of weeks? Could try an evening meet if that's any good.

As I mentioned, I'd be happy to get a whatsapp group together - might be an easier way to stay in touch. If you're interested, message me your number and I'll sort it. Obviously we'll still use EDF as well.

Hey all,


Was great to meet you all today...definitely up for meeting in again in a couple of weeks, I know we discussed perhaps doing this one evening as it might be easier for people with Easter etc coming up. Let me know what your thoughts are, I could always book a table for us for dinner somewhere? - maybe Roca in Dulwich Village or somewhere else- open to suggestions... Anna, definitely be interested in the 'what's app' group...I have problems with my phone at the moment though and it won't let me download it but I will let you know when I get it sorted!

Re: Roca - yes it's nice in there and not expensive either!! We could just go for a drink though if people don't want dinner? ...I was thinking maybe the tue or wed after easter monday if that works for others? I'm happy to book somewhere if people do want dinner - otherwise we could just meet in one of the pubs in lordship lane...whatever works best for you all

Count me in. I've heard such great things about Roca but, like Buffy and Em, I'm happy wherever there is food!


Weds 23rd is perfect for me (weekend of 26th/27th is looking particularly jam-packed)

      They're a fringe party with totally leftfield policies.       I suppose I'd assume that Councillor McCash, who is, as I recall, a self-confessed revolutionary Marxist, had hoped to take Southwark Labour down his chosen route - when he lost his leadership bid he must then have been looking for a party which shared his ultra-left views (ultra-left at least in the light of Starmer's interpretation of socialism). The Greens, for him, clearly fit that role. After that his timing was all about benefiting his chosen (new) party - at least he didn't stand for Labour and then defect giving the Greens an unexpected 3 year seat. As someone who doesn't share the wings of his political position I don't wish him well (politically) - but neither do I wish him ill as a 'punishment' for his defection.

      Agree with all the sentiments above. Hope it doesn't change too much and above all I really hope it stays independent and avoids becoming the same as all the chain pubs in the area.
