Hello East Dulwich. I've been using this forum for a while now and I'm often pleasantly surprised at how creative people can be when creating their usernames. I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd be interested in hearing some of the background and history to your assumed identities so lets hear them.

Michael Palaeologus = Venerable words from the God-like one.

Bow down and tremble.

From Wikipedia:

Michael Palaeologus (died 1156) was an early member of the great family of the Palaeologi, which later ruled the Byzantine Empire. He was a general of the emperor Manuel I Comnenus (1143?1180). The general was known as a womanizer and a drunkard; he was rumored to have over fifty mistresses.

Thatsmaboy!

No I'm quite a well behaved mutt Jah lush but my username has little to do with dogs. I work as a demolitions expert and people say I'm like the big bad wolf from the 3 little pigs story as I essentially huff and puff and after asbestos abatement survey and engineering reports come in I blow your house down.

    • Looking forward to updates on this as they roll out the autumn ... rolls and then the winter ones.  I'm not a fan of spring rolls myself so will skip that review as and when.
    • How does an MP on a 75k / yr salary afford a 4 bed detached buy to let house in Dulwich Village in the first place?
    • It won't have been the Prime Minister or the Mayor of London because they have both jetted off to Brazil to hector us all about so-called climate change.  So it may well have been Rachel Reeves.
    • Many years ago, I actually cooked a meal for all who wanted to come ….. In this day and age, with social media being in our faces..yes, I don’t live in ED, but visit,  why doesn’t Christian spirit happen? I would think, few people even know their neighbours…. Life, busy etc. We all live in one world..human kindness is all around..In a city, people are scared to make human contact, especially when who knows what might happen. Can clearly remember, coming back in summer with friends,  side door had been jimmied.. nothing was taken from inside.. When I lived in ED and when I visit, it is Me who starts a conversation.. never know where that might lead, or in deed where it might take one.. Notice my post, in general did not have response I was hoping for .. that is fine.. So, Will start again, and ask personally.how can I thank or make a donation to keep forum going.. We should be proud, to have a forum like this..
