Louisa, I used to work for a well known Ladies High St. retailer and there is definitely a demand for Lordship Lane due to local demographic and catchment area. The issue is getting the right property at the right price in the right place. Unfortunately whether we like it or not Lordship Lane will become Northcote Rd mark 2 at some point.
Jigsaw have opened in the Village where is considerably less footfall than on LL. the current LL women's clothing offer - White Stuff, charity shops, Oliver Bonas, a couple of indies - isn't enough to meet the needs of all the demographic, so CK should do quite well.

Your clearly bursting to tell everyone what it is, do yourself a favour and let it out, you'll feel much better :-)

    • @Sue I think there was only 1 free day in the 7 day event GALA were asking for, that was the third day, after the first weekend. I think the second weekend was meant to be paid for access. I agree, the free Horniman music events are great but have nowhere near the same impact as GALA.
    • I'm going to pretend that your manner of proceeding with repairs and prioritising your to do list is completely alien to me.
    • You may be assuming I will soon get round to doing this. Unfortunately it is presently not near the top of my extremely long "to do" list 😥 However I now know what to do when I feel the urge to take action, which is great! It  could be one of the random things I suddenly start on when I get fed up with the more important and/or urgent things .....
    • But the second weekend mentioned is a free community event? Horniman gardens often have events. At least, I have been to several in the past. I wouldn't have thought the green area of the park at Telegraph Hill was big enough?
