Because they're a shower of utter bastards, Caron.

They have no organisation about them when it comes to oncoming pedestrians, and I've lost count of the number of times I've had to climb onto the top shelf of a narrow aisled shop in order to avoid getting an 'ankling'.

As for 'Percy', I'm not sure about prams, but I'm a great admirer of the Led Zeppelin singer, and I'm sure you like me, wish him all the best.

It's more like saying a mini driver has a considerate little car, whereas a Range Rover driver is inconsiderate by taking up half the road. It's the same with prams. There are small contraptions that don't seem to get in the way and the huge 4x4 people carriers! That's what gets my back up - not the babies or the mothers, just the over-sized contraptions with the big off-road wheels! Why are those needed in London!?

Clinical staff have been great (if you can get an appointment) but apparently the Practice has a ‘new system’ in place. You can’t phone for an appointment, you have to go ‘on the app’ and request one. GP will review the request at some unspecified point and decide whether to offer you an appointment . My experience of using the app hasn’t been good and I’m a bit horrified that folk can no longer arrange appointments by phone or by walking in. I’ve also had them lose referral forms, and had to chase them multiple times over a simple GP letter. This has never been my experience in the past so it’s alarming. Anyway, I’ve asked to be included in the Patient Participation Panel, so I’m interested in the experience of others, good & bad? Feel free to PM me, if you prefer!
    • I miss milkmen. It was the sign of a good night out if you met one on the way home. But could quality produce, in 100% recyclable packaging and home-delivered by zero emission electric vehicles really catch on these days? They should bring back the Corona pop man, as well.
    • Based on what I’ve seen, you can get yogurt in small glass jars from milkman now if you miss those.  Butter and bread is also available.  One of the dairies has fresh bread from a bakery in Brockley, but that bakery also do their own deliveries which I had been thinking of trying.
    • Of course you also had lot's of local diaries. My grandmother had a job as a milkmaid in Camberwell when she was young!
