We looked very good last night. A deserved win. It was a shame about Fletcher and it would be great to have him back but I think it would be asking a lot to have the card withdrawn. It was alos a shame that it was that young lad Gibbs who slipped over for the first goal as he looks like a good prospect and he shouldn't let it rattle him. JSP still had a lot of work to do to score though. I keep banging on to friends (I do have some!) about how underrated Park and O'Shea are and they pop up and repay my loyalty. :))

As for below the belt Keef...videos of Gerard kissing the camera and various other posts by your lot when you beat us? I'm not one to join in, of course, but I've heard there's 50,000 red and white flags for sale in north London, only used for 11 minutes. Let me know if you're interested. ;-)

It was only a few weeks ago United fans booed United off the pitch at half time against Spurs..

As for plastic fans, what about United having their employees on the touchline waving giants flags before their European games..

Hope there is no trouble when United return to Rome - but I suspect some will be looking to settle some old scores.

What are you on about Matthew? I assume you mean flag waving staff, as in the same sort of thing as the Champions League circle things that get wafted by kids on the pitch before games and the giant flags that get passed around over the crowd? I think they probably do similar things to that at most grounds don't they? It's like having cheerleaders at an NFL game.

I certainly don't remember any booing at the Spurs game either.

What's the matter? Are you a little biddy bit jealous of our second consecutive European Cup final? Bit worried we are getting close to your 5 European cups and 18 leagues? SAF certainly is getting close to knocking Liverpool off their F****** perch...:))

Now now children, play nicely in the playground. Fair play to ManUre they were the better side and I personally was disgusted by the number of fans who left early and made my feelings known to them as they left the ground. I meet a mate who let me have use of his season ticket for the boro game and went to meet him in a pub outside the ground to return it. As they left the ground and went past the pub I was in I let rip with both barrells. It is the ifrst time in my life that I've been ashamed to be associated with such w**nkers. But my faith and love for the club will never die. As for Red Devils jibe, well let's see if you get past Chavski or Barca. Come on Barca!!!

Ha ha! Laughed my tits watching the Scum throw it away within the first quarter of an hour. They were outplayed and outclassed by a very good United side. You've gotta feel for the boy Gibbs for his slip that let Park in to score but I suspect he would have done so anyway and Fletcher who'll miss the final because of a referee's mistake.

If Barca score first in tonight's game anything could happen and I suspect Barca could sneak it and I'd rather Barca went through than the nouveau riche Chavski as it would make a better final than a repeat of last year's. But it could go either way.

    • Sadly I think you will never convince people like this. They think gardens have to be kept chopped back and controlled. My theory is that this comes from being (or trying to be) controlling in every aspect of their lives, so I doubt if anything you could say or show them would have any effect. But are they actually coming into your garden or leaning over into it and pulling up/damaging things? If so, maybe one of our community police people could have a word with them?
    • Dear Nature lovers - advice please. I am being harassed by a neighbour who doesn't like my standard of gardening which she calls 'messy'. (I have rewilded my garden with advice from the London Wildlife Trust and a gardening expert from The Times.) I have twice caught this neighbour and her husband pulling up my plants and damaging my trees. Plus she has photographed my house, and sent a dozen complaints to the Dulwich Estate about my plan to rewild the verge outside my property - approved by the Estate some 4 years ago in line with their stated policy of supporting biodiversity in and around Dulwich. What can I do to introduce these neighbours  to the benefits to us all of returning a portion of our gardens to nature?
    • Have you tried Southwark's leisure centres? As a regular attendee at Peckham, Camberwell, The Castle and speaking to friends, the dance routines for all ages are similar to Silver ones. In addition Natty, Bianca and Isac are brilliant instructors.
    • I've been there for lunch a few times and the home cooked asian food (as part of Sweat Dreams cafe) is genuinely great and a must try. I think the food side of the business has been slow to be noticed but people are now realising what is actually hidden in plain sight.  As for the Aroma Lab coffee ... it is excellent, they are very welcoming and friendly (and unpretentious!). This Australian coffee snob is mightily impressed!!
