Not me, but a good friend of mine (I know no-one will buy that) projectile vomited into a girls permed hair on the dancefloor of a club, moments after confessing his adoration for her by mouthing the words to 'Girlfriend' by N-Sync and perforing a frankly ridiculous breakdance. I think he still buys her drinks to this day to conceal the deep shame he feels.

OHMYGOD sweetie!

Is that why you refer to me as "Coleen" when you are drunk?

If I had known I would have worn my gold spangley boob tube to the last forum drinks!

My friends and I used to throw ourselves through people's immaculate hedges when inebriated. Gardeners spend hours trimming their bushes, so it must have been deeply upsetting to awake in the morning to find teenager-shaped holes in them.

Ref The Nolans - I still watch Loose Women on occasion - oh blimey there's another dirty secret. They do just pop out.

I once gained access to an RAF base and its aircraft by waving my credit card at the security guard as we drove past, my RAF mates waving their genuine ID cards.

We then took photos of the even then, rather ancient Canberra bombers. Challenged by an Officer one of the RAF mates claimed that we were from "28 Squadron" (didnt exist) and were here for an exercise and had permission to take photos. Satisfied, the Steely Eyed Killer walked off and we legged it.

No it wasn't. Don't even talk to me CitizenED. Some things cannot be forgiven. Socks with sandals indeed. Did you get dressed in the dark?

During a painting lesson at school (I was 5-6 years old), we were told to paint ourselves. So with a lovely fresh dollop of paint I painted a green tie on my school shirt and a bow tie in my hair and stood very proudly in front of my untouched canvas.

I knew at the time it was wrong, but I couldn?t resist taking the teachers words literarily.

Sorry Mrs Dawkins and to my mum.

    • I have two pillows we bought to try out - used once or twice - but didn't work out for us. Here's one: https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/rosenskaerm-ergonomic-pillow-side-back-sleeper-30444369/ This is the other: https://www.ikea.com/bh/en/p/mjoelkklocka-ergonomic-pillow-side-back-sleeper-60446767/ (they don't stock it in the UK any more - I think) You're welcome to both/either (free). We were going to post them on Freecycle as we're moving and downsizing.
    • I'm looking for a comfortable double (no spring) mattress, a duvet and pillows in good condition. Please get in touch if you have any of these things! 🙂
    • We are talking Sunday not Saturday! Is Saray the one opposite Brockwell Park? Think it is - always quiet when we have been there but we eat early - forgot that one. Thanks. Food was ok not bad not good but staff are nice - that was six  months ago. Ohh excellent as you are a veggie too.. Will check out Dai Due Fratelli - thanks. No Thai I am referring too is up a few shops from Oxfam Book Shop…
    • I think the Italian you are talking about was the old pizza place which is now closed and chicken shop in it's place? There is a nice Thai restaurant called Chern Thai on Grove Vale that should be open at lunchtime Saturday. I am veggie too btw. Peachy Goat in Herne Hill is good, but depends on the ask as it's kinda burgers and pasta and not the cheapest. I tried the Turkish in Herne Hill, Saray, round the corner Saturday before last and will be quiet but the owner is super sweet and it's not expensive. If you are happy with pizza / pasta, you could also do Dai Due Fratelli which is good food, friendly and attentive service at good prices on Lordship Lane.
