I have noticed that I very often find myself saying "what Jeremy said", to the point that I hope I'm not freaking him out. I have met Jeremy a few times in "the real world", so I am glad I am agreeing with someone who actually is a nice fella with a brain.

This is not to say I agree with everything Jeremy says, but often do.

Who on here do you most often find yourself agreeing with / puts what you're thinking a lot more eloquently than you have?

Of course Louisa is another one I tend to follow like a blind sheep.

Edited because there were about 5 typos!

The city is not run by top hatted effete public schoolboys, but By streetwise Essex men & women, mixed with rugby playing toffs & thick necked guttaral colonials - not a group you really want to take on

What snorky said, boy talk's sense more often than not, you just sometimes have to apply the snorkyfilter

Sean bless him is one of my favs, he talks a lot of crap as well as a lot of sense but I love him for it nontheless.

Keef always talks sense and stands his ground so have to respect that.

*Bob* makes me giggle plus is possibly one of the most attractive gentlemen I have yet to feast my eyes on.

Whilst we are on this, can someone open a thread about who talks the most bull? (tempts fate)

Louisa.

Anyone who informs me that Johannesburg is in South Africa is all right with me so Brendan.(tu)

Brendan Yesterday, 10:57PM

Johannesburg to Benoni (these places are in South Africa) in 15minutes, the journey at normal speeds normally takes at least 30minutes.

Only a few days ago I had to explain to a posh public school boy type I work with who is doing his masters in politics, where Durban is. So I though I best not make assumptions.

    • Useful link, thanks. I see that neither of the Dulwich Hill councillors are standing again but one of the new Labour candidates for DH recently left the Lib Dems… The Greens are led by someone who left the Lib Dems and full of people who left Labour. Reform is full of those who left the Tories. And the Tories are full of those who left our planet some time ago. Confused? You will be!
    • I'm sorry to learn that though Liam does seems well qualified. Hopefully with McAsh gone, Southwark Labour will turn to Charlie to fill the gap.
    • As I understand it Charlie Smith did put himself forward for selection in GG but Labour members chose someone else to represent them, Liam McGrath https://southwarklabour.com/our-candidates/   It'll be interesting to see if there are other defections - surely the Greens want a drip, drip, drip of news from now to May suggesting the momentum is with them.
    • Thanks for your feedback - we always appreciate hearing from members about their experience. The pool temperature at JAGS Sports Club is maintained at 29oC, in line with industry guidelines for mixed-use pools.  This temperature has been designed to balance comfort for lane swimmers and families. Air temperature is also monitored regularly to ensure a comfortable environment for swimmers, spectators and staff. The shower Temperature Mixing Valves (TMVs) were changed in December to improve consistency, and we hope this has made a noticeable difference. If you would like to discuss your experience in more detail, please contact us directly at [email protected] or 020 8613 6500 and we'll be really happy to help.
