Moos
Young kids as in1) Toddlers2) Teenagers3) 20-somethings?Might help narrow down your target market somewhat.I'd suggest you just wander down the lane and have a look at all the different pubs/bars you can see, and go into one or two that seem to have the right vibe for you.Good luck, have fun. jacki
Sorry shouldn't have put kids and offended anyone ! But my friend and I are oldies in our thirties ! georgia
EDT or Liquorish are my suggestions as they are lively (both usually have a DJ on later in the evening) and no kids to be seen. EDT is my usual choice on a Friday / Saturday. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/5774-friday-nights-where-to-go/#findComment-185659 Share on other sites

Moos
Wasn't remotely offended, am old meself! But thought you might honestly mean kids as sometimes people with children take them into pubs and bars. From what I hear, Adventure bar is stuffed with people under 25 and may not be your cup of tea*.*Not suggesting you're THAT old. Brendan
What Keef said. Good thing about LL is there are a lot of place relatively close together so you can just wander around and settle where you feel comfortable. Although if you want a change from EDT and that part of the Lane then go just a little way up the road to the Magnolia. Everyone in there is well old. I?m talking 30 even 35. I?m talking 30 even 35.*snigger* he he that made me giggleWE went to the EDT last sat night and once the crowd had cleared out they had some great tunes happening (dj cancelled so was the owners ipod)... We were sat next to a group of about 25 year olds but they were fine..If you are going to go to the edt on a friday try to get there early to get a seat.. MrBen
Great stuff Snorky!Jacki - I reckon based on what you said...try Magnolia / Green & Blue first for a quiet one, then Black Cherry then perhaps finish off in the EDT.And if I was single... I'd bash the Bishop. Quite literally. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/5774-friday-nights-where-to-go/#findComment-185759 Share on other sites
