Having had a peek at the 'hate' thread which was depressing simply because if you hate it it's not worth writing about, please enlighten us with what you love! There's probably a thread like this elsewhere but so what. I will start the ball rolling with a song from Van Morrisons 'Astral Weeks' called 'The Way Young Lovers Do'. I would like to expand my knowledge of music through the ages so please feel free to add to the collection. I guess it's all subjective but give it a go and try to find something in your memory banks that just can't be dismissed.

Yep, one of the best.

I had a live version of this on a 7 inch by the Flaming Groovies, where the hell did that go?

One of the all time great intros.

How can i be sure - David Cassidy. I love the original by the Young Rascals but the David Cassidy version is my favourite, don't knock it just because some pop prince sang it. He really did the song justice. I also love Dusty Springfield - I just don't know what to do with myself.

    • I suspect it is really difficult as stuff gets ground in and that is the problem. My own view is the event should be moved to a more suitable site. It is fairly clear they want to expand, I think that is the biggest problem, the risk of the event getting extended or other event organisers getting in on the action. It is great that the barriers are down and the park can be fully enjoyed again. The damage to grass does not seem as bad this year; I suspect that is because there has been much less rainfall.
    • We used Tom King recently to repair two light switches and have used him in the past for moving a plug socket. He's a lovely guy as well as the utmost professional. Very reliable and helpful, talks you through what's needed with a repair and charges reasonable rates, especially as some electricians charge the earth in this area now. Highly recommended!
    • Does anybody have a wildlife night vision camera in good working order which they no longer use? If you have one, please message me, thanks x
