That is part of my point. The secondary schools are less open than Primary schools. There should be a regular dialogue between school and parent and any lack of communication by the parents flagged up.

Once a child enters Secondary they should not be viewed as anything less than a child albeit an older child, but still a child.

I'm sorry to hear that he's a friend of daughter.


I remember when I was young the lads who were most polite to my parents and parents of friends were often the ones who were most likely to get up to the worst activities, bullying stealing or worst.

Is it possible your daughter?s friend is one of these lads?


If he was just an innocent bystander then it is awful that he has been stabbed, but I find it very hard to believe someone would be attacked if they were just minding their own business.





It will be interesting to find out what sparked the argument and the subsequent stabbing.


How is it that these men are still walking our streets carrying knives?

I don't agree. Groups/gangs of kids can hassle and insult other kids who are just minding their own business - it happens all the time. Sometimes teenage boys can't help themselves, and react rather than walking away... and it escalates from there.

That's what I meant by try telling that to Ben Kinsella's parents. But you said it better Jeremy.

      Yes, should have given up by now but haven’t. Was waiting for my train yesterday and went into WHS on platform to buy a pack of fags. Almost feel to the floor when guy quoted me £28.00 for a packet of Silk Cut purple. Was a long day for me and thought I had totally misheard him! Asked again, only to be told that that was the price whuch is well over the odds..when I queried it as have bought, admittedly end of last year was told “ this is what management charges”. Surely this can’t be right…fags stayed in WHS paws while I bought some in Herne Hill at normal price. Still reeling over shock…..

      I use the one in peckham where lidles is they are really good if you need somewhere closer

      Going to be really inconvenient for folk to go that way as has been stated.. why not just move to Camberwell which I would assume is abit nearer and better travelling wise or have vets in both places from Lordship Lane Branch.. Must have been massive flood if going to take two months to dry out, electrical tests to make sure all good… From upstairs? Or where?

      @selector73 Thanks!  Because we want him to be treated by the vets that know him we will have to get to the New X branch because thats where the team are based until LL reopens. Thank you again 🙏
