I've just got Sky and I'm on the basic package. I'm thinking of upgrading to the full monty for ?46 a month. Is it worth it?

If you like your footy think another ?9 p/m for ESPN when the footy season starts in August..

is it worth it, hell yeah, but only if you have the whole shebang ie sky + hd. you will not regret it.

gotta agree, you might not know you need it, but once you have it you'll realise that you do

If you enjoy spending half-an-hour flicking through hundreds of channels to decide what to watch, then select your choice only to find it's an ad break then go for it. Otherwise, stick with the black and white set with the coat hanger for an aerial and your life will be no worse off

i'm with silverfox. unless you get it for the sport it's a waste of money and you're better off with said coat hanger and a freeview box.

We have it and are on the package that is 35 a month (I think 4 or 5 bundles) and its great we love it (we have sky plus).. I guess if you like sport then go for it but if I do watch it (rarely) I'd rather it be in the pub..

I decided years ago that if I, and everyone else, refused to pay for Sky, it wouldn't be able to buy out all the sport I liked to watch. Plus the thought of putting money into the Rupert's empire was a step too far....

Years later.... I watch very little sport anymore... I read more now though!
