Played with much harder balls that did not swerve all over the place, as well.

Georgie was my boyhood hero and still is. Every boy at school, including Citeh fans, wanted to be him. I agree with Jah, no comparison.

The week he died I attended a match at QPR with some friends. During the minutes applause a spontaneous chant of 'Georgie, Georgie' went up. He had no connection with QPR, but this showed how much he was universally loved and admired by the footballing public...

    • I'm going to Paris with friends, staying in the 3rd arrondissement. I used to go a lot but that was ages ago so wondered if anyone has any 'insider tips'? We are interested in small art galleries, independent shops, good value cafes and restaurants that may not feature in all the many online articles or guides, thanks!

    • Elliot built alcove cupboards and shelves in our lounge room earlier this week. SO happy with them, the quality of joinery is superb and elliot was very communicative with me about checking things and confirming details. Clean and tidy aswell (even brought his own kettle!).    Would definitely recommend for any carpentry or joinery.
