jobdone
Would anyone agree that it would be a great idea to have a couple of hours a day,(regulated),buggy free in lordship lane!Just imagine being able to walk freely along the pavement,go in to the shops without a buggy jam!Any buggy pusher flouting the 2 hour period would have thier buggy confiscated,(on the first offence),then, if they buy another one,a more severe punishment! What d'ya think? Ted Max
Ha ha, brilliant. Ban the buggies! I think you're onto something. Inspirational stuff. Let's meet up, I think I love you. Can I bring my mum? No? Your mum? Fair enough. Buggies. Ban them. Awesome. Two hours! Not enough. 9-11 People (idiots) with buggies11-1 The retired, those requiring assistance, the halt and the lame1-3 People in work clothes, muddy boots and no shirts3-5 Lone females, key workers and pizza delivery boys5-12 Stubbly men in Gap jeans, sunglasses and lager. And their molls. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8245-buggyland-lordship-lane/#findComment-254404 Share on other sites

fmay
I know how annoying it is being held up behind a sea of buggies but now find myself a mum too and therefore one of those annoying people on the paths :-$ We need our buggies to carry the heavy babes, vast changing bags and heavy shopping bags so spare a thought for us too! We're already self conscious of this and the hostility and general irritation from people (without little ones) around us isn't very pleasant during an already (usually) stressful day. I'm sure most mums would LOVE not to have to drag a buggy around. I propose a separate 'buggy lane'??? :)) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8245-buggyland-lordship-lane/#findComment-254424 Share on other sites

????
Great idea - I'd also like a ban of 20 somethings on LL, oooh say 6pm to midnight, with their awful fashion sense, retromusic shite and self-conscious tedious bullshit conversations Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8245-buggyland-lordship-lane/#findComment-254468 Share on other sites

Will_i_am
But if you ban buggies what am I going to use to bulldoze a path through the crowds of able bodied people? I don't always take the little one out. Sometimes it's just a bag of spuds in there. Pickle
Great idea. I'll leave my buggy at home this afternoon and instead encourage my two wayward children to walk instead, bound to make life much more pleasant for everyone we encounter... ;-) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8245-buggyland-lordship-lane/#findComment-254482 Share on other sites
Will_i_am
I'm considering attaching spikes to the wheels of my buggies. Chariot style. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8245-buggyland-lordship-lane/#findComment-254486 Share on other sites
Brendan
Shouldn?t you folks be tending your offspring and not posting nonsense on here? I think one of them is busy trying to break into my house. legalbeagle
Ted Max - love the post! (but you forgot clowns, who should also be banned, with their huge feet, the glare from their enormous shiny noses, the shrieking children shoved under their arms.....) thexwinglessxbird
Too right. Fed up of having my feet run over by people with buggies. Why does nobody ever say excuse me & just expect you to jump out of their path? Keef
Why are we still posting on this thread, when it is clear that some knob jockey from Forest Hill was sitting so bored in front of his sad little forum, that no one was using, and so he felt the need to look on a real forum, and try to get a rise out of people.Prick. legalbeagle
And why is it that only people with buggies have no manners? All of them mind, not just one or two people, but all of them, whoever they are, wheverever they go, all time. Always. Everywhere. I've never ever met another person or category of persons who ever forgets their manners ever. Every other type of human being I have ever met on Lordship Lane has always been charm personified.
