  1. 'my wife does all the shopping for birthday and christmas presents for my family (who are actually now HER family too thanks to the wonderful establishment that is marriage) so these kind of shops in ED are most useful' :)-D
  2. And I want all dogs muzzled, but we can't have everything. ::o
  3. Like I said before, I can live with the ban, but when people start suggesting it be banned outside the pub too, then I will start telling them to feck off!
  4. No to David, and amazingly, no to Brendan, although that could have been it man!
  5. Missed Brendan's post, but I did mention Obstructing field above, although Brendan probably deserved it more, as I had help, but dems the breaks! ;-)
  6. And obstructing field. Right, on to a new question... In F1, the 1994 Spanish Grand Prix saw Damon Hill get the Williams team's first win following the death of Ayrton Senna. However, this was somewhat overshadowed by Michael Schumacher finishing in second place. Why was his performance seen as so special?
  7. Right, give me a few minutes to try and think of something...
  8. Not sure if this is in the proper sighted game, but "hitting the ball twice".
  9. timed out, treading on stumps, obstructing field? I only got about 7, but I work with the manager of the England Blind Cricket team! >:D< Wasn't sure if you could get out for cheek to the unpire...
  10. To be fair to Rafa, Gerrard looked like he was running on empty, and when they showed him take his seat, he looked drained. Not surprising being that he has so much pressure on him, and he's just had 2 Merseyside derbies. However, I don't think Liverpool stand a hope in hell of winning the league now, and it pains me to say it. Several times this season Chelsea dropped points on a Saturday, and we couldn't take advantage and pull away in front. We are now paying for it, and if anyone is going to fade from the race it will be us. Rafa is a master of European tactics, but not so sure he really suits the prem. I'm not saying I want rid of him, but think he needs to rethink a few things, and stop blaming everyone else for his own mistakes! Hopefully the club will be sold to someone who can actually afford it this time, and he'll get proper backing. RE: Torres, I just don't think he's found his form after injury, still a top top quality player.
  11. The way my finances are looking right now, I may not make this, as in a weeks time I shall probably be completely skint!
  12. Microbite, I'm guessing you're a few years older than me (only a few) but you have just brought back so many memories! Cheers :))
  13. Will be here in April! Yeah she's trying to split me up from Jah Lush! (only kidding Jah, you know she loves you).
  14. That just made me think of "Land downunder" (although I think he was 6'4) :-S
  15. Ah memories, I was there 96 - 01 (stayed on after uni). At one point I lived on Baggot Road the Smithdown end, right opposite the Aldi. Used to be worken regularly by the delivery lorry beeping and telling us ut was reversing! During summer of '97 I lived just off Allerton Road around the corner from a newly opened Bargain Booze. Me and my mate used to go there daily throughout the summer, great times!
  16. As a smoker, I actually think the ban has generally been a good thing. I just wish that all pubs would provide a little shelter area outside. I have no stats to back this up, but of all the people I know, the smokers are the people who will drink most and spend most in the pubs. If I couldn't even go outside for a smoke, I simply wouldn't go to the pub, as beer without fag just doesn't work for me.
  17. I'd agree with DM's take on several parts of Peckham, as a teenager, there were places you just didn't want to go, and The North Peckham Estate was known as Front Line. These places are definitely nicer and safer. With regards to Rye Lane however, I am firmly in Louisa's corner.
  18. He's turning in to Wenger. I hate managers making excuses, especially about the other team. Just manage your team, and win a bloody game for the love of God!
  19. Alas Jeremy that very shop closed down around 2000. Didn't know you'd lived in the pool, I lived near there.
  20. Lovin your work
  21. No, in my opinion. That said, we gave away a clear penalty, but if we hadn't, we probably would've won it, so not sure what to think. If we want to stay in it though, improvement is needed from all involved.
  22. That does suck, but seems to be great motivation for a poem about disappointment!

    Ask Admin

Fair play, didn't actually read them, just assumed it was a local with a holiday home.
  24. Anyway, lets try and get back to perceptions of ED for the sake of this project. Come on folks, answer the questions.
