  2. I used iD until recently, and never had any problems around ED.

Again You think it's "petty bickering" to suggest that reporting suspicious behaviour to the police is a good idea? You have a strange idea of petty bickering :))
  4. Maybe check first if you are specifically going to see the animals. We took my grandkids there a few years back, and the day we went there were hardly any animals there, because they'd all been taken to some event somewhere else.

Oh thanks, I'll have a look, never noticed Scotch pies in there. I think I'll give the green frogs a miss though :))

May 4 > 2017 - May 6 > 2018 ? May 8 Thanks for that! We have been wondering when they would arrive!
  7. I have been there with one of my sisters, who is a member. It's a great place to meet and have a coffee before going to an exhibition or whatever. There is also food, though a much smaller choice than in the main restaurant. Also, although I am not a member, they let me in happily when I arrived first. ETA: Just reread your post, which must have been edited after I responded, and now I'm not sure whether I went to the old or the new members' room! Whichever, it was very pleasant!
  8. It is perfectly possible both to start a thread on here AND to alert the police. Most people don't read this forum, I imagine. And the reason for calling the police to report suspicious behaviour would have been precisely to prevent a crime.

  10. Sorry, duplicate post.

I have never found it difficult to opt out of unwanted emails.
  12. Sadly we have to send you a form to do this, KK and PGC xxx
  13. We do use MailChimp but only changed to it relatively recently and migrated over a list of nearly 1500 names :(
  14. Yes, it's a pain for people like us (The Goose Is Out!) with an existing mailing list of people all of whom have already chosen to be on it. We've got to ask them all to opt in again, even though they already have.

  16. Elliott Morris is indeed brilliant, we've had him on at the Goose a couple of times. The music nights sound good, will check them out :)
  17. Crikey! British Home Stores! C&A! Woolworths! I miss C&A, not sure about the other two, though Woollies used to have some great albums in their sales :) ETA: As in vinyl, not photo or stamp :)
  18. :)) :)) :)) Also, "let us choose any colour". As if most places force you to have a colour you don't actually want :)) :)) :))
  19. Lynne Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I've never had any reason to complain about that > one, t's the smaller S C that driven me away. And me. I don't go there any more, only to the big one.

  21. singalto Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Colville09, you were lucky to meet them during the > campaign as I certainly didn?t. They could hardly get round everybody, let alone find them all in! I have heard both the "new" Labour councillors speak at the meeting where they were elected to stand as candidates, and I was very impressed with their knowledge, passion and commitment.
  22. Alan Medic Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > As long as idiots have a vote, things like this > will happen. Thanks James & good luck. Erm ..... I'm guessing not everybody in East Dulwich knows of James, particularly if they don't read this forum. And the boundary changes won't have helped. So they probably voted solely on party lines. That doesn't make them idiots.
  23. The RSPB has some sort of metal thing you can put over a feeder and at least the parakeets won't wreck the feeder with their beaks.
