  2. Don't know that Declan character but Narnia seemed ok. Wonder what happened to them/him :'(
  3. LadyDeliah Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Egg and chips (tu) Totally with you on that LadyD!
  4. HonaloochieB and Quids - not at all, isn't everything supposed to taste like chicken (or is it pork :-S) Wasn't trying to imply I'd rubbed shoulders with royalty, faaaaaaaar from it. P.S. Tarot, I cannot resist saying this - very clever but Sean was absolutely spot on before and what's more, you know it. But, well done for keeping it up, can't be easy... B)

  6. The bill has arrived for sure. I think the budget is particularly bad for pensioners and savers. Also bad for small companies looking to invest in the North Sea. The larger companies already there won't be affected and will be unlikely to offer anything for sale. Lots of job losses. Not sure who benefits. P.S. Personally, I won't be buying Chick a pint at the Clockhouse anymore ( you heard it here first).
  7. Swans taste like chicken. FACT.
  8. ???? Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > They were the same person...Narnia was the witty > one and Mick Mac the deliberately stupid one I suspected this all along y'know ...
  9. Shocking treatment at the hands of those oafs old chap, interesting account but ... one small detail has been omitted, what kind of fish thing was it? Cod and parsley in white sauce? I think your error was not picking up a couple of bottles of choice port to wash it all down with.
  10. Nigella has a great chicken soup with kneidlach (sp?) recipe that uses schmaltz, can't remember which book it is though. Its fine to make the dumplings from matzo meal and butter too.
  11. I used to love reading the banter between Mick Mac and Narnia, they were a classic forum double act...
  12. Oh, how we laughed indeed ... Anyway, Lurker, I think you'll find that what happened at curry club, stays with curry club.* However, do feel free to PM me for *confidential* details of whodunnit. And perhaps an in-depth account on upholstery conditions. Good company, very enjoyable evening and Omrith gets (tu) from me too. * Or goes on the forum :))
  13. Apologies, Chair and Marmora Man if my lengthy post above is side-tracking from the subject. Please delete if you want (once Huguenot has read it/if Huguenot reads it) :)) Thanks.

    Super Moon

It was so beautiful to see the moon so close to the Earth. I couldn't stop looking at it. I will remember it forever :)
  17. the next 'supermarket opening on LL' thread will be one to watch out for. or maybe something about the CPT :))
  18. Marmora Man Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Germany has, in response, even shut down all its > reactors for safety checks - yet they are not in a > earthquake / tsunami zone. I wonder about the response to the catastrophe in Japan from the French Government, considering the amount of nuclear power they rely upon and the protestors that emerged following this type of reporting.
  19. oh no, how long does that leave in months/years? :-S
  20. aren't you confusing them with janitors?

Please, please god, tell me you aren't a) suggesting that fossil fuels should have been distributed equally and b) that the changes in the planet's climate are only due to the exploitation of oil and coal? (and apologies if I have misinterpreted). P.S. Brendan, have you been reading the X-Men? and why are all scientists mild-mannered?
