Have you tried looking in the Wanted Section for Gay Pet Clubs?

    Gay Pets.

If your dog could type I'm sure there'd be a few well chosen growls and barks at your curiosity!
  3. Expansion of the market could be quite positive for the area if there are more antiques/collectibles, art, 2nd hand designer clothes, footwear and ethnic food stalls. Just adding more fruit and veg, mobile phone accessory and bric-a-brac would be a bad move. If it's true will this be the death knell for the ED Warehouse? Will residents loyal to the EDW pour onto the streets bearing protest placards or will the residents of Zenoria Street hold a massive street party?
  4. I'm obviously extremely immoral (as noted on countless other threads). I was never on benefits but when I left home at a tender age I had to find a way to feed myself. I did get a job but it barely covered my rent so the odd bottle of milk and loaf of bread did get long term loaned from someone's doorstep post the milkie's delivery. Apart from turning up at friends' houses, coincidentally just in time for dinner, it was sometimes necessary to augment stocks by utilising the storage capacity of the sleeves on my parker coat in Tesco's freezer cabinet. Sometimes I'd survive on a packet of cornflakes (breakfast, lunch and dinner) a loaf of bread and a packet of cheese. By the end of the week the remaining bread and cheese would be slightly mouldy, but nothing a quick blast under the grill couldn't cure (and yes I was fiddling the gas meter so that 10p coin was recycled infinitely). I'm just about a reformed character now.
  5. It's a mad mad world Sean. Going back to my original post, I was slightly overstating my ignorance. My curiosity was more about understanding why cazzyr had to make such a forceful point about hetero groups and why she felt so isolated as the only gay etc. Well I'm glad I asked the question. It's seems to have exposed another agenda all together. Nothing to do with sexuality and nothing to do with having to justify an action. Clearly some people feel that because they are in a perceived minority and may have suffered difficult experiences, they arrive at the conclusion that anyone not sharing those experiences must be against them. It's a behaviour that's absolutely normal. You feel vulnerable so you lash out in order to warn people away. At the same time though you often risk alienating those around you that could become part of your community. At the same time you create special rules because you're an exception. Yet these rules, if applied to the mainstream would be totally wrong, like a positive discrimination in reverse. It's a shame that cazzyr feels the need to toss in a string of insults rather than engaging in the debate, but that's her prerogative. I don't think that because you've had a tough time being gay that can be justified. But perhaps it is understandable, which is why many people would want to dig below those feelings to the source of the pain and work out a way to replace it with love rather than hate. Somewhere earlier in this thread I made my peace with cazzyr (which she accepted) because it was never my intention to cause offence, but simply to open up a debate (this is a forum) on a subject which makes a minefield in Mozambique look like a manicured lawn. Some posters have jumped in and deliberately turned up the heat with out actually contributing anything positive. Others have really tried to be sensitive and understand all sides of the discussion. I'll say it again. It doesn't matter what the issue; colour, race, religion, football, wealth, sexuality or which parenting mantra you follow, this is just another example of why some people can get on and live together and others find every reason not to.
  6. Well it certainly wasn't a dull game. It could've gone either way, shame that in the end it was one mis-kick that settled the result. Both teams were unlucky not to have scored a winner in extra time but on balance it should have been Chelsea's night.
  7. Do large hairy girls use NutraSweet?
  8. Try riding a bike behind these numptys . . . and in the wet
  9. No, I think James' advice is good. If you've got good pins show them off. Wear extra shear black dancer style leggings and perhaps be a little street bold with black socks and pumps ;-)
  10. 4hw if you haven't already, try Si Mangia. Good value buzzy Italian.
  11. I think I'll go back to reading lost cat threads . . . .
  12. You're LTJ Bukem's sound engineer?
  13. I'm all for efficiency and cost effectiveness but surely 700k people in employment is a good thing and the majority of these Quango's provide an important service which would never be funded commercially.
  14. Vegetables have feelings too http://www.naturez.org/images/vegetables-12.jpg
  15. "Yes thanks" He says, polishing a historical Thompson M1928A1 SMG Machine Gun.
  16. I reckon an eaterie like Saf could work in ED (I believe they're looking to add more restaurants) and perhaps replace one of the bog standard Indian restaurants on LL with a good South Indian Restaurant aka Ganapati without the meat and fish.
  17. I failed that one. I now have to do the "Which side of the garden shears to hold with 3 fingers" course.
  18. Perhaps we could celebrate Veggie week by trying out a new vegetable dish every day. Korean Mung bean pancake anyone?
  19. After recently having my allotment application approved, Southwark council have now requested i attend an H&S training session on 'How to put on Wellington Boots on safely'. I'm hoping that if I receive my certificate (which will be mounted proudly in my shed) they'll fast track me onto the advanced theory Wheelbarrow pushing course.
  20. What exactly happens during World Vegetarian Week and will it be followed by World Carnivore Week?
  21. Louisa, true, it's not a greasy spoon full of builders, but you shouldn't knock it because of that. It's a good and honest cafe that offers an alternative to bacon, egg and chips and is run by somebody who really cares about his business. All sorts frequent the place. I recommend you try it. You might just enjoy it.
  22. That's brilliant *bob*. But how did you clone out the Foxton 'For Sale' signs?
  23. I think you missed a couple of important details placing it later than 1914
  24. The rain in Penge, falls mainly on the flange
