  1. Great choice. Thanks Georgia.
  2. I just don't understand people on this forum that venture beyond the SE22 boundary much less outside of Southwark. Why? Lounge?
  3. Thanks ????'s (boy) you obviously spent too much time at a certain club in Wardour Street and perhaps Bluebird on Greek St! Great thread Sean. 5. As I watch Italy crush France like a Gamay grape I should be drinking a glass of Masi MAZZANO Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Vento. Sadly just a can of Stella.
  6. Not strictly true gpfred if you're using it for collateral or raising finance through a re-mortgage or equity release scheme. Probably won't be too long before residential derivatives are available!
  7. Amazon is taking series 5 pre-orders for Sept release. Det. William 'Bunk' Moreland: How did we do, Charlie? Charlie: I almost got one to swear that the docks are actually near the water.

  9. Dulwich Hill according to Wiki it is now Denmark Hill.

Argentina won it in 1992 (beat Wales). I don't know if Maradona played although officially he was in the team.
  11. Tenuously related. Thought this was an interesting move by Phoenix against the tide of current opinion. Is this where the smart money is going?

The " > Nazi" Channel islands ? Antarctica ? Lilliput ? I didn't expect you to want me to spell out that Scotland have never got past Round 1 (assuming they'd entered or not withdrawn) of the EC or WC. Having said that, I'm not feeling particularly big in my pants about Italy's position in their group.

  14. Many of the above but even before that (showing my age):- Crackers - Wardour St Gossips/Billys - Dean St The Venue - Victoria The Embassy - Mayfair Gullivers - Mayfair Sands - Luton Red Lion (Robbie Vincent) - Harrow-on-the-Hill Hammersmith Palais Goldmine (Chris Hill) - Canvey Island Cheeky Pete's / Brolleys - Richmond Subterranea - Ladbroke Grove The Arena - WGC
  15. I think an upgrade to NTFV would be more appropriate. Sorry to hear of your experience Keef, what a pain. Re CCTV, these days the vast majority of venues use digital hard disc recorders on a minimum 5-7 day wipe over so I VERY much doubt NTFV only keep a 24 hour video tape. Complete tosh IMO.

Well snorky, coming from somebody who's country doesn't have a football team, I guess I'd be bitter too. a) Obviously b) I'm part South American so that works for me in the World Cup
  17. Would you argue the same point for all existing food outlets in ED that serve unhealthy food? Edited for spelling name wrong because relish dripped on keyboard

Nice one Monica. Only the Italian's can mention football and food in the same sentence! I think Italy will recover from their abysmal start.
  19. In my mind I'm not sure the problem is the quality of the food as I'm sure McD's (and all other big chains) source acceptable quality ingredients. It's the global dumbing down of a cultures gastronomy that worries me. A little hypocritical perhaps, because maybe twice in the last couple of years I've had a snack from McD, but then again, because of their ability to buy strategic locations there really wasn't much other option . . . save another fast food chain.
  20. I'd like to offset the carbon reduction on mine. Anyone willing to swap for a long haul flight?
  21. The only flaw being after 15 pints it doesn't include a pub close to Kings A&E>:D<
  22. Sounds like a great idea. Any thoughts on a route? I ONCE did it from The Magdala to The EDT via Liquorice, Inside 72, Palmerston, Black Cherry and The Bishop. Don't remember taking in much local scenery though!
  23. Great photo's Andrew. I feel like I'm almost there supping a cold Guinness. Georgia, both days are OK with me too.
  24. If you're going North don't move to Bushey. Brixton Belle sounds so much nicer!
