  4. Here's a cheap solution: http://mortgagefreeinthree.com/2015/08/frugal-chalk-painting-for-furniture/
  5. You wanna take this outside?
  6. I was at Frank's last week and overheard someone saying, Peckham was just like Shoreditch now.

  8. Thanks for the info. I'd like to see that.
  9. Great! If a rat-run and a school are the precedents, please may we block off Adys Road?
  10. Alas, St John's Goose Green bells do not chime between 11 pm and 7 am.
  11. Bloody satisfying!
  12. I'm sure I had a coronation chicken sandwich when I was a nipper.
  13. Gosh MM, you've made me blush. Perhaps you'd better edit again this morning when your hangover kicks in. That was an exciting first day. Trivial 'fact' of the day: Apparently the term "cow corner" was first used at Dulwich College. However, I can't pin down whether this is true or not.

  19. I did wonder whether social services should be involved! I love a nail-biting test. This morning I thought England had it in the bag. A huge run chase for Australia, but you never know.
  20. Game on! After that appalling start, England didn't do so badly, but I know I'm going to have that gnawing feeling in my stomach until it's all over. No Sky*, so only have TMS and OBO to go on, but Mitchell Johnson didn't seem on form. I saw him at Kent recently and he was positively scary. *After 10 years' protest and not signing up to the Evil One, I may just have to concede that it won't return to terrestial tv.
