  1. Annaj - I understand the Plough does a lovely chilled bucket of water.
  2. I hasten to point out that it's my friend who's given birth - not fruit of my own loins! But I will pass all good wishes along. She lurks here occasionally.
  3. After a gruesome birth, blood transfusions, etc, she delivered a bonny boy absolutely healthy and no idea of the fuss he caused. That's what I call an achievement!
  4. "Frankly their support is shit!" Steady on, old boy, my lovely maiden daughter was singing her heart out for Chelsea. She did however think Spurs deserved to win. Surprisingly, she was quite underwhelmed by the Wembley experience.
  5. Just made me first ever curry: Cauli & Broccoli tharka dhal. V nice too.
  6. Agree with Bob - you are likely to blow the engine up which is a damn sight more expensive to replace than a can of oil.
  7. y before m = e before r except after x
  8. Groan - my head hurts.
  9. Keef posted yesterday on his cut - you just need to thread hop a little. I think a few ironymeters need resetting.
  10. Alternatively buy a long wheeled base landrover that seats at least 9 - you get away with the congestion charge and I'm sure you could afford the 5 inches per gallon it will consume.
  11. Put that light out!
  12. PS - Al Fayed is the Landlord.
  13. All felicitations gratefully received today.
  14. This is the site of the new ark - I though everyone knew that. They want to keep the punters out so when it rains down claphamites, they will have room to take their families and all of EDs cats and float away.
  15. You to me are everything - The Real Thing
  16. Petitou is ok if you don't smoke, don't shave, don't crave meat and you have a high tolerance for wingeing weans.
  17. Will you be asking burly Glaswegians about their poles, Michael?
  18. Stupid Cupid - Connie Francis
  19. Worked it out now - first sight mentions: This video has been removed due to terms of use violation. However, picked it up from the other link. I'm afraid MP you have lost your spot as the most empathetic, intuitive member of the EDF - not my cup of tea at all! But thanks for thinking of me and broadening my experience. As my old, dotty English teacher used to say, you have to taste a lot of oranges to know what a good one tastes like. (I went to a weird school).
  20. Confused - where are you directing me to?
