  1. There's already another Grand Designs house not 250m away, in Bawdale Road, behind Moxon's.
  2. Down in Fellbrigg area too. Sky modem has solid orange smiley face rather than white one.
  3. What LondonMix said
  4. The pressure pad is definitely working - I've triggered it. It's probably being set off by car wheels straying on to it.

  6. Why are you assuming this is speed-related? It could've been caused by the far more common cause of accidents - not paying due care or attention.
  7. Ridgeback Hybrid seat post, unused: ?5 B'TWIN competition road bike bar stem 130mm, unused: ?5
  8. I don't know which shops will suffer, apart from the Co-op and maybe Sainsbury's; Rose's, Moxon's and Franklins etc have a loyal customer base who appreciate their quality. Maybe the wine shops, but there are no independent ready meal shops on LL.
  9. Co-op will be concerned, being neither cheap nor good.
  10. Meanwhile: http://www.standard.co.uk/news/london/families-terror-as-people-carrier-bursts-into-flames-in-car-park-below-flats-a3324306.html
  11. So the pillion removes his helmet and the chase is called off.
  12. Ever wondered were all our stolen motorbikes go? Perhaps the police should be allowed to chase them now.

You're correct - it's the '20m concession'

We have never had anything (touch > wood!) You have to drive 40m in a bus lane for any fine to be valid. You should've appealed!
  15. Pretty much any diesel made before 2014 will fall foul of the uLEZ rules. And most petrol cars built before 2006.
  16. There isn't a speed camera at that location. Don't know about a bus lane camera though. Might be worth checking google street view.
  17. To not charge taxis is absurd. The amount of old (some up to 18-years-old) black cabs in town is criminal. Few are Euro6 compliant; most are Euro4 high-milers with no particulate filters and poor tuning. Start there.
  18. The size of the unit base suggested a commercial
  19. What's the reg?
  20. I'm going to keep whingeing, thanks. Not about the result - it is what it is - but about the ignorance of the people who voted for it, and who will now be among the first to suffer its consequences.
  21. On the contrary, I want him to have to deal with the clusterfuck he's helped create. If May gets in, for example, the Brexiters will just say it's her fault the country's wrecked.

This was after I told them that we'd all voted in, but your post makes sense!
  23. Just had a couple of Remain chaps at the door asking if we'd voted, which we have. They said that there's been a surprisingly low turnout in SE22, so if you haven't voted - get to the polling station now!
  24. This is the kind of thing our stolen bikes end up being used for: http://www.standard.co.uk/news/crime/brazen-moped-thief-caught-on-camera-snatching-phone-out-of-victims-hand-in-square-mile-a3276136.html So anything that can be done to prevent thefts is imperative. .
