  1. Actually I just had spare ribs and noodles - does that count?
  2. I have a confession to make, so do I (the shame). But they must have the friend onions or else it just doesn't taste right. the ones in Ikea cost about 50p (if even that) but there's no onions - what gives? Maybe they expect me to grow my own?
  3. Ye Olde Lounged Firkin & Greyhound Thread
  4. From up there I'd have thought Honor Oak station would be much closer.
  5. "It is basically just there to hold the tomato sauce and mustard that you have to drench it in to make it edible." That's some sauce.
  6. It was bad. The pair seemed so uncomfoortabl live. Not sure who were the eventual winners and losers... but I'd say Kirstie and Phil.
  7. It was inevitable.
  8. Land of Shopportunity - inspired.
  9. But come on you've gotta love thos M&S adverts...
  10. This is on the precipe of becoming as libellous a thread as it is possible to be. Definitely a flood gates scenerio. Just a small trickle and the dam will be breached. Are there any droplets out there?
  11. That's one scary individual.
  12. I love Fraoch. I've their Kelpie as well - it has seaweed extracts. Really nice. Snorky, which bavarians? hefe-weizen, bock, lagers...? do tell.
  13. Kwak - It's lovely. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kwak There's a pub near where I work that sells them. At 8% it's best to have one after work!
  14. Following on from a similar thread (on wine). What is your favourite bottle of beer? Don't limit your selection to what's available in the UK. So if you like something a bit more exotic do share. I think of all the ones I've had it would have to be Samuel Smiths Oatmeal Stout for a nice winter's day. On a hot day though, Crouch Vale Brewers Gold.
  15. @ MP - but was it green or orange? In the end I had a take away (the shame of it) Lemon duck and mushroom fried rice.
  16. What say we get rid of the stretch of buildings where the Woolwich was located (I know some people live above there so please don't take this as a dig). This would provide a great space for a dept store/ indoor market plus on the top a viewing platform. 3 of my suggestions rolled neatly, or not so as the case may be, into one.
  17. The late Luther Vandross' Dance with my Father - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=eZPDofY_wY8
  18. You can't personalise your office at my work place even - it's not that big a deal. We have plant policies too - only company plants. At least I get to go home at 530/6 everyday, except for today...

  20. Also and indoor market like the one in Greenwich. I know we're getting a little one - it's a good start.
  21. Are we speaking from experience?
  22. Well then I suppose it was just me then...:(
  23. Ah sorry - got confused i'm taking about Green & Blue, maybe I should start that new thread... :-$
  24. Me too! Looks like a take away is in the offing...
