We hear 'Sirens' all the time, Day and night.. Police.. Ambulance.. Fire Brigade, ? They are our Emergency Services ... Why sound So Surprised.. ? #FFS People need to be a little less Sensationalist. Fox

I've tried Moth Bombs. About as useful as a couple of Joss Sticks. The Moths don't eat woollens or carpets. Only the Larvae do.

seenbeen Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > A 185 went past me- 4 people on it including the > driver...NONE were wearing a mask...including the > driver! Does that mean the virus has gone? I have been closely monitoring Drivers and Passengers on all local buses when I'm out and about. Most if not ALL passengers wearing masks. Most if not ALL drivers NOT wearing masks. I have not seen a single driver wearing a face covering since they were made compulsory.. DulwichFox

Shops and restaurants that will not reopen after lockdown
DulwichFox replied to teddyboy23's topic in The Lounge
It is all very complicated. It seems that we may need to book a seat in a restaurant. Not too much of a Problem. But This could apply to Pubs too. Time limits may apply.. Limits on drinks . Contactless payments only. Eating and drinking with masks.. ??? Cannot see Pubs staying open to 12.00 01.00am Drinking outside depending on weather.. What about when the weather turns and Winter sets in. What about Glasses... (plastic)?? Cutlery when eating out.. Bring your own ??? Menus ?? Disposable ?? Foxy -

Well At birth as most babies I had 100 Billion Brain Cells. I seemed to of survived with what I have left. there's another type of brain cell, called a Glial cell, that can divide to form new cells. I must of been blessed with a glut of those, ... don?t criticize ... What you can?t understand .. Foxy

I Had Measles as 4-5 y/o in the early 1950's. Millions died world wide at that time. I also had Whooping Cough at the same time. I was Very poorly. I can still clearly remember lying on our settee with my mum. I had a temp. of 105 F Our G.P. made a home visit and my dad had to go to Kembers, a late night Chemist at Camberwell Green to get some Medicine.. No Idea what that may of been at the time. There was No Vaccine I did not die.. We went to the seaside at the weekend and my dad took me out on a boat trip. The next day I had a miraculous recovery. Fresh air.. Get out and about. Not at all healthy to stay in doors.. In the 40's before I was born, my mum had T.B. She was sent to Pinewoods Sanatorium. It was Winter.. A foot of snow on the ground.. They left the windows open. They went for walks in the snow. It was Freezing. She recovered... Fresh air. The best remedy for most illness. Fox.

This country has become Obsessed with the importance of 'The Virus'.. People with Heart Problems... Diabetes ... Asthma ... Cancer ... High Blood Pressure ... at risk from stroke .. now being unable to get treatment ... or hospital appointments. Many of us are Sick.. seriously unwell and at MUCH greater risk of serious illness or death than the actual risk from Covid-19 We need to get a GRIP and get back to a sense of normality otherwise Thousands of people will die without getting the Virus. How many people do we want to save. ??? We all know the Sick and especially the Elderly are a huge burden on the Government and the NHS. When I was 56 and retired .. at a hospital appointment, I was referred to as 'This Elderly gentleman' Elderly at 56 y/o. ?? Does ANYONE really give damn. I do not think so. The government doesn't

Not too concerned about a shop that I have never heard of.. Do not know where it is.. ? Not a long standing feature of Lordship Lane.. How long has it been where it is. ? Fox -
I've had 12 weeks.. out and about shopping.. Queuing .. travelling on local buses. Hospital appointments .. blood tests.. Receiving Take away deliveries. Living life. I must of been near or next to affected people. If I just stayed at home and totally gave up on life.. Then I might just as well be dead anyway.. Fox

Compulsory Face coverings on Public Transport.
DulwichFox replied to DulwichFox's topic in The Lounge
What is most likely.. (1) The virus started on a Market Stall in a back street in Wuhan. (2) It was developed in a Wuhan Laboratory London: The Wuhan Institute of Virology received a shipment of deadly viruses from Canada's Microbiology Lab months before the outbreak of Covid-19, newly-released documents confirm. https://www.timesnownews.com/international/article/wuhan-lab-received-shipment-of-deadliest-viruses-from-canada-months-before-covid-19-outbreak-report/607345 Must of been the Market stall. -
Interesting that the UK has some of the most Stringent Restrictions on Social Distancing and Self Isolation .. ..and Yet some of the worst figures on Covid-19 occurrences and Deaths.. Perhaps for some people, a little exposure is actually needed to create a level of immunity.. As I understand it, Vaccines are actually a minute dose of any Virus. Foxy

Was out and about 15.30 ish. Lordship Lane .. North Cross rd. Lots of shops now open. Lots of people about.. Memsaab Restaurant has been refurbished. Plan to re-open mid July ? If allowed to do so. Restricted seating.. ?? Jazz Barbers seems so have had a Refurb with social distancing in mind ready to re-open when allowed ?? Seemed to of been a decrease in Mask wearing.. Are people just feeling more confident or just reluctant ?? People just seemed happier. The sunshine seems to help. Foxy

Compulsory Face coverings on Public Transport.
DulwichFox replied to DulwichFox's topic in The Lounge
It's odd but before the Pandemic, if you went into a Bank or Building Society wearing a mask the staff would Press the Panic Button and the shutters would shoot up closed and the alarm would be set off. -

From Today (Monday 15th June) Face coverings are compulsory for people traveling on Public Transport. However this does not seem to apply to Drivers. I only saw 1 driver wearing a face covering today whilst out on Lordship Lane. Why has it taken 12 weeks to bring in this Rule. ?? Utter nonsense... DulwichFox
