  1. Yes, and if anyone has his phone number could you pass it on? I was considering having a few of these bronzed figures made up to dot around my garden... DM
  2. Dear Nero, Of course I have a brushed steel Thermos mug thingy! DM
  3. Wonders how Nero can drink a virtual body?...
  4. Darling Mr Mikewbate, It is the relaxation of Starbucks that I enjoy (I have been there twice today already, once at London Bridge and once in Clapham!). I couldn't possibly work there, it would take the fun out of it. I really don't think I fancy donkey milk latte either to be fair. Perhaps you could corner the market with an ass milk bath on LL? Didn't Cleapatra favour that as a beauty treatment? I don't think I fancy that either, but well, some people like crystals and reiki healing - so I suppose someone might be into it... Maybe you could rent some space upstairs in Soup Dragon? DM
  5. Hi there Mr Batdog! What are you doing for the bank holiday? Dear Mr Fear and Boozing/Crystal Carrington - please tell me what kind of cute little animal is that? DM
  6. Wonderful news PollyD! Raises glass and blows a kiss. Looks suspiciously at Mr Mikewbate - Ana is going out tonight. She is tall and blonde, and wearing her fav black footless tights and gold glitter strapless top - shame on her! Oh to be young....
  7. Ah! Thank you for explaining BarryRoad. Was I right then, or was I right? (For Miss_Ms information)
  8. Raises glass of champagne to chums. All is well, at 6.43 am!
  9. It is a surgical intervention without any medical indication, which could become infected and I think it is cruel - and dear Polly D, I had my ears pierced at a similar age. Are we lounged yet?
  10. Well Amelie, I am not sure that culture is reason enough. Circumcision of children without medical indication (particularly female genital mutilation) is sometimes deemed to be culturally acceptable but is rightly perceived as child abuse in this country. I think ear piercing of babies should come into a similar category. DM
  11. Now I am comletely lost... DM
  12. Smiles lovingly at Nero - admits to self, am a sucker for a compliment. Texts Ana (au pair) to bring Grande Latte for Mr Nero.
  13. Oh hurrah! Thinks: "Oh no, I have just shown my age"...

Now now Haylehaye, We will have all of the mummys paranoid in case you say you have seen their bottoms! Brian May and his instrument make me nauseaus. Why can't I get that image out of my head now?
  15. Well Slim, I just loved the big soft chairs and the coffee and the fluffy top on it, and the cheesecake, and the Ikea sliding bead toy thingy that occupied the little ones while they ate their ginger bread men. Isn't it a sad day when you stop shoe shopping, just long constantly for sleep, and the hilight of your week is a Starbucks in Sainsburys! Parenthood, men should have government health warnings tattooed on their foreheads! Bagpuss78, cherish your weekend lie ins, and enjoy eating Haagen Dazs ice cream without lots of other spoons being grabbed from the drawer and plunged into your ice-cream pot... I love the children, but I am exhausted. DM
  16. Dear Miss_M, They all drink in the CPT from what I hear! Why has Crystal changed his name? I don't understand, did I miss something? DM
  17. Dear Keef, You know me so well. It is the soft chairs, the cheesecake, the frothy coffee - bliss! Coming to a Sainsburys near us - soon! DM
  18. Laughs to self, as Max does "Whatever" sign at home to Freya, who has demonstrated the childish reply on more than one occasion "Loser";-). Thinks "Hurrah" to self, as understands the young people and their special language... Accepts large cream cake from Mr Keef.
  19. Dear Mamafeelgood, I love to drink coffee, and I do like frothy milk - yes this is true. But I looooove Starbucks coffee, mostly (to be fair) due to the softness of their sofa's. DMx
  20. Totters into quiet room wearing enormous white rimmed designer sunglasses, white jeans, silky Chloe top with shoe string straps and very high - high heels. Pushes sunglasses back into glossy hair, hands enormous Lemsip to Bagpuss78 and gives her a big kiss. Takes enormous pile of magazines/grapes/tissues and a pillow from handbag and plonks on coffee table next to Bagpuss78. Pulls chair next to Ms Bagpuss to read magazines. Gives withering look to men wearing space suits. Eats Mr Ants lunch...
  21. Hi Slim, Welcome to the forum! You probably remember the delights of Sainsburys and Starbucks on Dog Kennel Hill then? DM
  22. Dear Katgod, Hurrah! I will look forward to it. I know I have gone on about Starbucks a huge amount on here, but it was a terrific place for new mums (and even not so new mums) to have a nice cuppa while the children were occupied. The usual cafeteria style supermarket coffee shops are very uncomfortable places to sit with tiny people. DM
  23. That would be perfect!
  24. Dear Katietatie, This is wonderful news! There is a God! I cannot wait. I wonder when we can expect it to return? I bet it will be in Sainos. I am over the moon. Thank you sweetie. DM
